1. When a patient goes to the doctor and have to hear very bad news and suffer from extreme pain, they need a happy face and support. As a caregiver, it's my duty to offer the kind of support and passion that they do not receive in the hospitals. I became a caregiver because I care and I want to offer my help. 2. I like the organizing of daily schedules but most of all I like to keep my clients active especially the elderly. I have researched to prominent causes of increased diseases and pain in elderly clients and the one thing they all have in common is being sedentary. So I enjoy getting my clients active to reduce stress, pain, and increase longevity. 3. I am proud when my clients want me to return. When they are happy with my services and are excited in me returning. 4. I am currently working on gaining more education by becoming a nurse and then later I hope to become a physician assistant.

As an LPN working for over 5 years in a variety of clinical and home settings I know that I have a natural attraction and gift for being a caregiver. I take great pride in my work and strive to give the highest quality of care possible. I believe that we should treat people as we would like to be treated! It takes patience , compassion and lots of "bonding" to achieve a healthy rapport with a person : especially if they are in pain and have suffered any loss of independence. I am experienced with Alzheimer's and am also a Certified C.A.R.E.S. Specialist (Alzheimer Association). Motivating and being a good and attentive companion to my client's has brought me great joy!! English is my primary language.
I have always been a very caring person since I was a young girl. My career has consisted of geriatric and handicap patients in the rehabilitation and home care setting. I am very patient, kind, highly clinical and really enjoy making my patients smile. Just to hear I made a difference in someone's life even if it was for 2 weeks means the world to me! I truly enjoy my job and couldn't have chosen a better path in life! I am extremely proud that I have achieved managerial ranks early in my career, and used all opportunities I could to train and advance in all aspects of nursing to best serve my patients!
