I am a great caregiver because I am down to earth. I have a lot of patience , understanding ,and respect for others . I love helping others in every way possible , because it brought me great joy to see someone else happy . I am a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys helping elderly persons and provide the that will generate happiness and comfort. I chose this job because it allows me to reach out and share my love, time and also to provide care and assistance to persons who are elderly or incapable. There are several things I liked about being a caregiver, the greatest of these is to see that smile on a patient face that says thanks for being here for me .
What makes me a great care giver, is that I take the time to be in tune with what is happening around me and others. Each day I make sure that whomever is in my care is treated kindly, patiently, and lovely. Life is short, we are here today and gone tomorrow. We are all going to get old or sick one day. Life offers no guarantee to anyone. The only thing we can hope for is that we find someone who has your interest and always put your needs first.

1-Why did you become a Caregiver? .I became a caregiver, because of my grandmother. I was raised by her till she passed away. I learned a lot from her, and how to care for multicultures and multipersonalities. 2- What do you like about being a Caregiver? I like to turn a lonely feeling, down spirit and face, Into a feeling at home again, a right up spirit. 3-What is a personal achievement you are proud of ? One of my personal achievements is when one of my past patients was out of wipes and gloves, I didn't think twice I just got a warm wet cloth, no gloves in hand and started the perinal care gently. 4-Tell us something about yourself. I am caring, respectful, honest, trustworthy, and attentive to all.
I love and enjoy being a Caregiver as I care for the elderly. I am committed and a hard working person, a non-smoker, clean, organized, positive minded and cheerful. I go all the way and put a lot of effort in order to get my clients in a better health condition. I like to see them happy and I take pride in my work. I take care of my patients like they are my own parents; with love, compassion, patience, and respect. I've been getting very positive comments on my work from my client's physicians, family members, and friends. I also have great and recent reference that I can send upon request. Thank you!
My interest in caregiving started at an early age. Every sunday after church I would visit the sick and shut in members and others who requested prayers. I then attended a Medical Specialty High School and was involved in volunteering at local Adult Day Cares. When I was about 15 years of age my grandmother started developing Dementia and shortly after had a stroke. I became her main caregiver; cooking, cleaning, reading to her when not in school. I love the fact that I get to make a difference in someones day to day life. I tried many different ventures and always ends back into caregiving. This is what I'm meant to do and I'm good at it and enjoy doing it.
