Hello everyone I'm Dwayne, and I've been a medical assistant for about 5 years now or more but I've been mostly doing caregiver work, i just know I'm supposed to help people. Servitude is what i do. A little feces or urine or Sputum never hurt anybody, that's why we have gloves, soap and water. Wheelchair, hoyer lift. Walker, gait belt, elevator, doesn't matter let's get your loved one cleaned up and feeling better. I feel good knowing that I've helped someone's loved one feel better, people know when you're sincere and genuine or not..u can't fake it in this business you either love it or u don't. I'm Jamaican, i can cook as well. i love God and i don't steal, u can trust me in your home. I take my job seriously and i try my best to punctual and respectful. I have a history of 30 years as a caregiver. I started as a Home Health Aide in Hospice with 2 companies for 7 years. American Hospice and Central Hospice, due to a back injury I left the company and started private duty from the recommendation of one of my Hospice nurses. A month after starting with Hospice that I hadn't ever heard of at the time, I felt I had found my calling in life. I'm a great Caregiver because I treat my patients as my own family, I show respect to the family and their needs and try to recommend the best scenario for the family needs. 98% of my private jobs has been from past families. Hello my name is Ravette Smith im 32yrs old from Cincinnati ohio. I live in cobb county same exit as SIX FLAGS PARK. I have a 11 yr old son and im the oldest of 7 so im pretty much use to being the person others depend on and leaning on me for support. I started out in the health field in 2008 working with the disabled people.. From the ages of 5 and up. I worked with people With autism I work with people with behavior issues, CP cervical, to people with diabetes cancer Strokes Alzheimer dementia I work with people with catheters G tubes pretty much all the above I love what I do I started out as just a support provider and now I'm a Certified nursing assistant, now currently state certified Patient Care Tech. I do plan on going back to get my LPN license but I definitely love my health career and plan on staying in this field for a while
