My name is Chris Wilson, I was born in New Orleans and lived half of my life in Tampa, Florida, moving here to Michigan to be closer to my fiance Kellie. I've always been a care giver my whole life, it seems. Firstly with my Father and his diabetes then my two younger brothers whenever they needed it. After my Father died in 1996, I took an even larger role in their lives, often making them lunches for school or helping them with homework when needed. I love to cook, build family trees, and to just be a good lean on to whomever needs it. I am a firm believer that everyone needs someone, anyone to be around because no one deserves to be alone.
I am an experienced certified field medical assistant and phlebotomist whose looking for an opportunity to assist in family home care. I have over ten years of experience in both in-home and clinical home care. I am a multi-tasker, a team player and I am truly reliable! I am looking forward to this great opportunity!
Iam a great caregiver, because i have respect and compassion for seniors.Iam very professional, loyal and dependable,I treat each senior i have the pleasure of working with just like my own grandparent.Iam a firm believer of karma so i treat people just like i want to be treated.I have been doing a very good job of this for 8 years now,I clean very well and groom, diabetic care, testing and insulin administration, also i was a pharmacy tech for 15 years. So iam very educated about all medications given to seniors.
1.I became a caregiver because my grandmother and great grandmother were becoming sick and could no longer perform daily activities by themselves. 2.I really enjoy the relationships that I build with my clients. Everyone that I have met is very sweet with beautiful personalities! 3.A personal achievement that I am very proud of was becoming a honor student at my school, I am currently finishing up my Medical Assistant program and as of this month I am the valedictorian of my class. 4. I absoloutely love helping others and building relationships with clients. I have a passion for being a caregiver. As i mentioned before I have family members that I assist with daily and I cherish each moment of it. I can honestly say that i am also a life coach. Rather its helping someone with a daily task such as a household chore or encouraging one not to give up on a short term goal.
*Have been doing homecare for going on 5 years. *Mom *Student *Have taken care of persons from age of 15 to 106 *Worked with parapellegic student, students with learning disabilities, people with hearing disorders, dementia (from beginning to ending stages), some verterans and more *Looking to care in a easy going environment, daily to weekly pay *Willing to work last minute/late notice shifts and some overnights *Daily-Weekly Pay
I became a caregiver because of my sentimental value that I have for people that can't perform the daily functions/duties throughout our daily lives. What I like most about being a caregiver is helping and caring for another individual that needs assistance. One of my personal achievements are getting people to get back to the things that they use to do. I'm a caring, reliable, and loving individual and I pride myself on respect and hard work.
