Compassionate, energetic Certified Nurse Aide/Home Health Aide with years of experience as a senior caregiver. I have had opportunities to work with clients that had health issues such as Alzheimer's disease, Dementia, Strokes, Parkinson's disease and other age-related disorders. I have worked 12/24hours and I have worked as a live-in caregiver. I truly find my profession rewarding, because of the 'one on one' attention I can provide for my client. I'm CPR certified/First aid trained. By the way, I am animal friendly.

My name is Joyce and I have been helping out others off and on all my life. My mother was a caregiver so I learned from her. I have tried other jobs but I always come back to caregiveing, because that brings me more joy. Jesus says it's more happiness in giving than receiving. I find that to be true. It's full filling when you know that you have made a difference in someone life.

I am also patient and understanding and want to make the world a better place! I became a caregiver because I enjoy spending one on one time with clients/patients and getting to know their personalities, life stories, likes, family etc. Also, because I enjoy working in calm environments and taking care of household duties which includes cooking, cleaning and personal care, organizing, errands, etc.

As life goes on we all grow older and may eventually need assistance from time to time. I became a caregiver because I understand the different changes in life and I feel its my job to help assist a person in need. I am very thoughtful, responsible, and i have good communication skills. I am also a great listener. One of my greatest achievements is graduating high school 6 mnths early as student of the month.

Being a caregiver isn't about giving care, its about caring to give. Caring to give help to someone that needs more help than the average person. Caring to give help to someone who can't do what they'd like on their own. Caring to give help to someone who has feelings, needs, and deserves to be as comfortable as possible in their time of need. TO BE a caregiver one should CARE TO GIVE A HUGE part of their life to make someone else's life all the much better and that is where my passion comes in.
