Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Caregivers in Wilson - 6 caregivers found

Hello I'm shalonna watts 31 yrs old, currently in buffalo Ny. I have been a caregiver for over 7 yrs. It started with my grandfather, He retired and next thing his health started declining. I cared for him because I didn't like how he was being treated in nursing homes. I just couldn't stand to see the way he was so I knew others wasn't exempt to the same type of treatment. So that's what inspired me to start being a care giver, I've had several cases over the years, some longer than others, different type of issues. However I always provide excellent care to my patients, I try and make them as comfortable in the situation. I listen to there needs and make sure that they know I'm here for them whenever they need me. I'm proud of the mother and person I have become, I've had some tough times in life but I've overcome everything that was holding me back. I've just recently received my Cna license and bls/cpr license.

I'm a PCA, and nursing student. I've been on and off for 16 years in the healthcare field . He thing that matters the most to me in this environment is making sure I help make your day a little better and a little easier.

I've been in the home care field for 2 years now, and find it very rewarding. I'm very patient, have an immense amount of empathy when dealing with clients -which is a must in this line of work. I know I would want myself or my loved ones to be treated with the utmost care.. which is what drives me to provide outstanding care to my clients. My grandmother has dementia, I help care for her sometimes - so I know firsthand of what it entails. Home care was a different field of work for me, but I was curious to see what it was like. I didn't know what to expect, but surprisingly I really enjoyed it. The most rewarding part of my job is developing long lasting friendships with not only my clients, but their families as well. It's hard for me to not become invested in the people that I work for. :)

I enjoy helping others and putting a smile on their face. I truly am passionate and take pride in providing care and companionship.

I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping and spending time with clients, it's more than just a job. I've been working in healthcare for 2 1/2 years now and I absolutely love it! I'm a outgoing, fun person!

I have been working in health care, especially with the elderly, for a number of years. I like to sing with my patients/clients, old songs (yes, I actually enjoy the old stuff). I have experience caring for both men and women--having dementia, physical disabilities, or other concerns.
