I have taken care of my elderly parent when they were sick and I am a caregiver to my son with autism

I got into caregiving when I found a home for rent for free with a stipulation, it was free because the family renting it needed a caregiver to take care of their father with Dementia. I found the work rewarding as I had always been an empathetic person and liked helped others. I then worked as med tech, home health aide and home healthcare coordinator. I love working with seniors and will do my best to provide the best care.

I became a caregiver to be able to help some one family get through difficult times that they may be having with their love ones. And be able to give and show support in their love ones daily activities. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me a chance to show myself approve to some one else's family. I am able to be responsible for my patients, take pride in my work, and be a team player. As well as letting the families know that they can rely on me at any giving time to provide good services to their love one. My personal achievement is taking care of my comatose son, and knowing that I was able to do the best job in providing care for him before he past. After he past I took the opportunity to go back to school and received my Patient Care Diploma, Nursing Aid/ Home Health Review Certificate, as well as my Phlebotomy Certificate. I take pride in my work when I am dealing with my patients, I make sure my patients mental, and physical health comes first as well as there families needs. I am a team player, responsible and a take charge person when need to be. I am also loyal to my patients and there families.

Im very compassionate about the care i give. Im very attentive. Im a smiler and i love being part of achieving goals. Im very easy to get along with. Very dependable. The joy of knowing I've made a difference . Helping my clients achieve his/her goals. (Im not cat friendly). I do apologize. I am Covid-19 Vaccinated.

I have always taken care of someone and I am very good at it.As a caregiver, it is such an awesome feeling of being able help someone with the simple things that we take for granted such as brushing our teeth or bathing.My achievement is the look and love that i receive from patients and families. I am a responsible ,dedicated ,trustworthy and loyal worker and each patient becomes my family.

What makes me a great caregiver ? I'm on time ready for work, people person i have a Great personality. I love to listen even if it's the same story over and over. I consider myself to have been in the care business for a number of years at one time owning my own in home care services and then later graduating with a master's in counseling offering other services of clinical care, and pre need services. Now I'm at a point in my life that I just want to slow down a bit, still helping, but give of my time to families who are in need of help in Care giving. Care giving is very rewarding, no matter what capacity of care giving, it gives to self worth when you can truly find the time and open your heart to someone in need.

I love helping and making a positive difference in any situation I love to have conversations play games and I like to read but it makes me sleepy I will treat every client of mine as my loved one and I am dependable on time and have a sense humor as well I love to exercise and im proud to say I have patience and good way with dealing with stressful situations
