I am a great caregiver and enjoy being a member of the patient care team. Provides age-appropriate patient care. This includes assisting patients with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, catheterization, wound care and dressing changes , obtaining specimens, providing intravenous therapy, administering eternal feedings, pre- and postoperative care, caring for patients with tracheotomies, basic airway management, and assisting with life-sustaining procedures, including CPR. Report changes in patient condition to RN supervisor or family, records patient information in the medical record. Communicates effectively, and cooperates with team members to ensure continuity of care.
1.I wanted to be a caregiver because I love working with the elderly and knowing that I'm helping them in any way that I can brings great joy to me 2.I like about being a caregiver having different conversations with seniors and hearing some of the wonderful things that they've did in their life. 3.I raised both of my children single parent of 2 wonderful smart kids one is a soon to be college graduate and the other will be graduating from high school in a couple years 4.I'm a single mom of 2 the oldest of 3 I have always cared for and helped people all my life.. I'm certified medical assistant I'm been doing a caregiver job since i was 12 years old me and my family been taking care my great grandmother every since she past a away, I became a medical assistant because to save people lives who in need and keep the elderly living and help them survive and keep them strong to a positive safe environment with the certain help and medical needs.
I became a caregiver in 2004 when my friends aunt became in need of a caregiver it became a good feeling to help someone else do things you wouldn't think you would need help with. She is what inspired me to get my cna license. One of my personal achievements is becoming a mother of three and being one of the best at it. My family means the world to me so when I am not working I'm all about family time. I want to become an RN but I need a little more time because I have to focus on my babies right now.

I am a professional, I have a current CNA license, A current CPR First Responders Certification, I graduated college in Health Services Administration, I have worked in the Intensive Care Units and the Emergency departments at hospitals, I am experience with HHA/Private Care, I have my own car, I have two grown kids and two grand babies, and I am a family oriented type of person who treats everyone like family.
I have been in healthcare for over 30 years I come with lots of experience. I just relocated here to Florida from VA. I worked at the University of Virginia Hospital for 20 years, I started there working in the offices and I enjoyed the Patients so much I wanted to do hands on patient care, I received my Lic, there and lots of experience included critical care.
I became a caregiver because it is in my heart to do so. I love helping people and its my passion to provide care to people. What I love about being a caregiver is the experience ,learning of new things gaining knowledge of different people and the feeling of knowing that I was born to this brings me great joy. I Became A Caregiver Because I Love Working With Elderly, I've Learned Alot From The Elderly Just Working With Them. I Enjoy Knowing I Took Part In Changing A Clients Day Or Even Week. As The Elderly Gets Older They Tend Think Nobody Wants Them Anymore And That's Not The Case I Want Them To Still Feel Wanted And Cared For. My Personal Achievement I'm Proud Of Is When We Found Out My Dad Had Alzheimer's I Moved Back To Jacksonville, To Help With Him While Learning All I Could About It And How To Care For Him It Made It Easy Knowing What Obstacles I'll Be Challenged With Daily. I'm A Loving Person Who Has A Great Heart. Who Doesn't Mind Going That Extra Mile To Make Someone Else's Day Better. Quick To Give Others My Last. I became A care giver at an early age, my mother pass when I was 13 years old, I would talk to older people, I would sit with them I would listen to them shop for them, clean for them. I had A love for them there were speail to me , I just had no one else to talk with .I have always had A gift for taking care of people old and young .I wanted to be come A nurse just because I wanted to see that people get the best of care, I am proud of the fact that I have stayed in it for so many years you have to have A love for what we do, I am A caring person I treat people how I would to be treated , I learn to take the good with the bad, I put my self in to each person shoes, then I take it from there.
