Hello! My name is Keesha and I have been a caregiver, for a little over 2 years. I have traveled the world, worked some of the best jobs, eaten amazing food, been to some spectacular shows, museums and events, but caregiving has been the most rewarding experience thus far. As a 31 year young woman, there is always significant age difference between my clients and I, and I think that's what makes our relationships so special. Each client is like a new book. I learn so much of their lives, who they were, their spouse, kids parents, etc. and they get to learn so much from me! Being a caregiver is more than just completing daily chores, it's about connected with the individual. It's understanding that they're in a new/last phase of their lives, and this phase should be treated with attentiveness, love, patience and respect. I love what I do and I think it's special. My journey started with the care of my own grandmother and it was during that time I realized his was my calling and the focus. I offer full service personal care to include everything from medication management to bathing /grooming, as well as, ensuring the housekeeping and laundry are tidy and that we are timely for appointments or social events. Communication is very important and goals are tracked and recorded in daily care notes so the family is always up to date. I have worked with numerous families and with multiple health challenges such as Dementia, Parkinson's, various types of cancer, and stroke patients.
