I started in 1999 right out of high school I love helping people it's my passion to help when it's needed I mean I just really love what I do. I treat my clients as if they were my own family. The love I have for my clients is AWESOME

Since a child I've always wanted to be in the health field , I grew up trying to help as many people as I possibly could . During my final year of middle I applied to the Academy of health professions program at Gainesville High School where I spent my four years of high school learning about the health field . Before Graduating I was able to sit for the state CNA exam where I earned my license and have been practicing since. What I enjoy the most about the health field is being able to make a change in patients lives . Even if I can't change their outcomes I know for certain I can change their moods and put a smile on their faces just by listening to what they have to say and reassuring them that I'm there for them . Everyone deserves to be in a good mood .

One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is doing what I like to do. And doing the best I can. The thing i like most about being a caregiver is that I get to talk and interact with older people. Giving them an extra person to have a conversation with. Some personality traits that help me become a great caregiver is that I'm kind, respectful, helpful, i always give my all and do my best. I'm goofy and like to have fun and play board games. What attracted me to wanting to be a caregiver is that I feel like I can learn a lot from older people. And hearing their life stories are so amazing and educational.

I have been a caregiver for my step dad who has passed on and I work for a company in gainesville, florida for a short time where I worked with a young lady for 12 hrs and an elderly lady that was in a wheelchair where I had to make lunch or dinner sometime breakfast, help keep the house clean, help with bathing and I was also there companion

In times like these, when we can be isolated by physical, mental and emotional challenges... not to mention technology, finances and (of course) a global pandemic, I have found myself inspired by those who build bridges of connection and care. Not just inspired to donate or post on social media, but to actual show up and be there for people on a daily basis. It has taken me until middle age (and many careers) to realize that caring for people is my passion. I do believe the life I've lived has shaped me into a person willing to listen and help in any way possible. My goal is to be of maximum service at all times.
