Why I would be a great caregiver, I had taken care of my mother for many years she had arthritis in her hip, knees she waited too many years before she had surgery at that time it was too late for the healing process to recover 100% she always needs help to walk and get around like shopping or her day to day errands, taking a bath at times, cleaning, cooking, going to doctors appointments. As her daughter, I was there for my mother for many 15 years helping her to have a normal life as possible, caregiver, provider, and a good listener I love to help people in any way possible in today's world of Covid19. I see many elderly people that may need help I always ask if I could help in any small way that I could help. I have worked in a customer service environment for many years in my career I enjoy listening, acknowledging what is going on in their life what can I do to help, always showing empty with grace. I would treat anyone with the utmost respect with kindness if I would be their caregiver. I was proud to help my mother and to say I was her daughter if she was still alive today I would do it all over again with no hesitation. Hello! I love working one-on-one with seniors and have a great deal of experience working with the geriatric population in the healthcare setting. I understand the needs of older people. I thoroughly enjoy engaging with seniors and learning about their life stories and helping them reach their full potential. I am caring, compassionate, respectful, dependable, patient, and responsible.

I have a very huge passion for helping others. Being able to provide the proper care and support for my mother is what inspired me to continue in this field.

I became a caregiver on account of my good friend Ronnie Starling who was treated "bad" repeatedly by others and I wanted to save him from that kind of life, which he did not deserve and give him a safe and nurturing environment by taking care of him in my home. I took care of Ron on a volunteer basis for almost 2 years and It was on account of Ron that I decided to go to college for HHA/CNA in order to learn professional care in order to to take even better care of him! What I like most about caregiving is the satisfaction I get meeting other people's needs, making sure they lack for nothing and just being able to make their lives a little easier, comfortable and more fulfilling mentally, emotionally, physically and even spiritually. I love to be an encouragement in any way possible. I have worked with Alzheimer's decease and Dementia patients as well as end of life care. I only wish to be of help to those in need.

I love what I do !! I caregave for both my grandparents they actually raised me. I am a very empathetic person. I find it very rewarding to help people to make there days easier to fulfill there personal needs . To create and happy & secure environment to enjoy a fulfilled quality of life I have always been drawn to older people I feel they have so much worth & wisdom and deserve dignity and much respect and appreciation Also I have always felt a strong desire to help anyone that is hurting emotionally , mentally or physically. And have always done my best to do so What brought my love of caring for people to earning a living at it was atleast 5 years ago I helped my friend & her mother go thru the declining health & eventually hospice care of thier father / husband after his passing , the mother required much help as did the daughter I was hired to do this The mothers health has continued to decline and I have been with them all thr way doing anything you could possibly thing of to make her life as full healthy happy and worry free as possible Both the fun and the challanging She has now entered palliative care I love what I do ! I feel I have found my true calling

Im in a family full of nurses my moms a caregiver during the day and lpn at night we have 3 veterans that live with us and i help out everyday what attracted me to being a caregiver was my mom and how good she is what i enjoy more about being a caregiver is learning about veterans past and having them smile

My passion for providing individuals in need of assistance. For 10 years I was a caregiver for my loved ones in need and for 4 years I have been an caregiver providing aid for families loved ones. I was a caregiver to my mother for 10 years before she passed and within those years I enjoyed every moment from them on I knew my calling is to help those in need.
