Hello, my name is Melanie. I have a heart for the elderly. I lived with my grandmother many years ago and enjoyed it. During the recent pandemic I felt that there was and still is s need for this type of work . I really just want to make a difference and help someone that needs it. I find this truly rewarding. I now have a family of my own and have a desire to work part time serving in this capacity. My desire is to provide one on one companionship, meal prep, grocery shopping, doctor visits, etc. I am looking to work mornings while my kids are in school. I have also completed an online course, Foundations for Assisting in Home Care.

My personality traits are patience Compassion. Empathy and understanding and what attracts me to being a caregiver is that I am doing something I love to do and I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being someone's joy in challenging situations my personal achievement is doing something I love for over 12 years

My name is Alicia Lovelace, one of my biggest personality traits, been a care giver, are caring, patients and understanding person, this abilities allow me to be the best care giver towards my patients. growing up as a child and taking care of my mom from a younger age, allow me love and care for those who are unable to care for themselves, God as given me the gift of a caring heart and as such i am who i am today. I have provided Services for: General Senior Care Services, Live-In Home Care, Special Needs, Home Health, Personal Care, Medical Transportation, & Bathing/ Dressing. I am experienced with Alzheimers & COPD. And patients who had plastic surgery. I have References upon request. I moved to Panama City end of September 2019 ( 10 days before Michael) to be close to my Dad who I moved from Dothan, AL to PC in a skilled nursing home.

So one thing about me, I am a certified caregiver & have trained experience also I may as well been a caregiver my whole life, I took care of my cousin who was paralyzed, I've taken care of all of my grandparents and people I don't even know. I have a huge heart, I am a sensitive person, I am super sweet & down to earth. I'm an old soul, I would rather hang out with elderly people than people my age. I don't have much actually work experience due to I worked at an assisted living facility & it just wasn't for me I wanted to work in home care something part time not as much on me because I also am fixing to be going to school. I am not CPR trained or certified yet but I plan on doing that ASAP, when it comes to taking care of people, I know when it comes to my granny & I know I would be the same way myself, I want them to feel comfortable, I want to know the certain way they like things, their food, or the things they don't like so I can do it right, I want to gain a companionship with them, treat them like family & know that I honestly enjoy and need companionship just as me. I want them to know I am there for them that they can feel comfortable around me to ask or say what they need or feel. I also have reliable transportation, valid ID, and valid auto insurance. I don't mind taking them anywhere they want or need to go. I really need this right now, it gives me a purpose, it makes me happy. I'm available to work immediately, I would even consider being a live in caregiver if anyone needed one.

I enjoy creating relationships with people. I have always been the "mom friend" in the group; always making sure the people close to me are treated fairly and get what they need. I've always been a nurturing soul and taking care of people is almost like a reflex for me. It makes me happy knowing the care that I give is making a difference.

I have been a caregiver off and on since shortly after high school. I love working with the elderly and cherish the bonds I am able to build with each and every client. My long experience in the field has taught me patience and the ability to adopt to different situation.

Hi, thanks for looking at my profile. I took care of my stepmom for many years. She was wheelchair bound, a stroke patient, and a diabetic. She had depression issues she was on medication for. I helped her with bathing, dressing, washing her hair, giving her medications/insulin injections, meal prep, errands, transportation to her appts. I have certification in CPR/First Aid from my FL Class D Security Officer License course. I am presently taking Carelinx courses to better myself for the Caregiver position.
