I have been doing in home care over 30 years.I love helping people and being there for them.Im currently in school studying for my Masters in medical assistant, to bridge over to registered nurse.My goal after school is work as a nurse in end of life hospice.

I am very patient and willing to help, learn to make sure the client have good care. Being able to help the client, balance that to daily living activities and to give them a reason to want to continue to push, and forward to do better and to get better . being able to give the client a reason to wanna live.

I became a Caregiver in 1998 because i enjoy helping others. I enjoy talking to and listening to the awesome stories that clients tell about their life. You began to get to know one another and build a bond. I am currently CPR and First Aid Certified. I have over 20+ years as a CNA.I am currently in school to finish my degree in Education. I have been doing home health care for 20 years, I love working with the elderly/disabled. I love helping people in need, and providing companionship. I received my Habilitation Aide certificate 1996. CPR & First Aide certified.

In 2003 my mother had to stroke and at that point I dropped everything to care for her In gave her 7 years She was also told she had cancer. I guess friends and family that where I'll or need help with medical problems called me saying I was good at what I did. So after hearing so many say it I figured it was my way.I enjoy seeing the faces of the people I care for and making them happy.Giving a millionaire his last wishes.

I have over 20 years of experience in the caregiving field, both live in and live out situations. I am highly skilled in grooming toileting bathing dressing and transferring of elderly. I am well versed in assisting clients with activities of daily living and I have demonstrated ability to record and report changes in residents eating habits to supervisor or family. I'm very caring, loving and will go above and beyond to take care of your loved one. I've worked as an Administrator in Training Social Service Director, Dietary Manager all in long-term care. I have also been a business office manager in Psychiatry and was a Resident Assistant at an assistant living. Ever since I was young, I've always enjoy taking care of my grandparents weather I was painting toenails, shaving legs or giving a haircut or helping to house chores that were difficult for them. It always put a smile on my face. Not only do I enjoy helping others, but seeing the satisfaction of relief on their face on things that maybe difficult for them to complete or families with smiles that have stress relieved off of them is satisfying to me. I love what I do and I wouldn't do it any other way. With my experience, I have learned to be patient with others, listening to everyone, and think of all options or approaches before acting.

Iam one person that does this job not only for money but its a blessing that iam able to do what God blessed me in doing and I enjoy what I do and thank all families that trust me with there loved ones.

I have been caregiving for nine years I have had the pleasure of working with some very wonderful clients with a wide range of various needs both Physical and mental. I attended a local college and received an EMT degree and had the privilege of working on an ambulance for about two years voluntarily. I thoroughly enjoy helping people and try to be a good assist as much as possible. I work well with others and consider myself a good listener with an open mind. Caregiving for me is almost a selfish act because you get so much enjoyment and self gratification out of it. Thank you for your time!
