Since that time I've stayed with individuals and couples in different settings with different medical conditions. I am empathetic , happy Christian woman; enjoy helping others-giving. I have been a CNA for 13.5 years . I'm a single mommy of 4 children, Ages 22,18,17,9 I have had private family experience for at least 6 years , i have also worked in facilities 2 years ,as well as Home care 10 + years i prefer home care because i can focused on that one specific patient one at a time . I would say my best personality trait is that I have a big heart. I have always been a caregiver, especially when it came to family. I currently work as a lead teacher in a daycare, I love my job so very much! I enjoy being surrounded by joy and love. I would say I love the connections you get with the family's is what I love the most. It's all about caring for the person and their family so they all feel heard :)

I started caregiving right out of high school as soon as i was of age to do so. I've always had a love for helping people and with a family full of nurses it felt right to jump right in. I was in school for nursing but changed my mind on that certain degree and plan on switching in the future. I have been a caregiver for more than 4 years and love each and every day of it. I have experience with many things all across the board and i'm never afraid to learn new things either. I have worked with hoyer lifts, gait belts, wheel-chairs, etc..
