I have over fifteen years of experience in caregiver but to be honest I have been a caregiver since I was eight years. My mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when I was just a child. I willingly gave up my childhood to ensure my mother was cared for to the best of my ability. Being her companion as a daughter and a caregiver really gave me joy and allowed me to recognize my purpose at a young age. I love what I do and I take proud in helping those in need. I guess the main question would be why should I be a good candidate for the position offered. Well I believe I am one of the best caregivers only because I have dedicated my entire life to improving and enjoying caring for others. This has allowed me to be the woman I am today. I am a caring person. I have a good attitude toward people. I carry my heart on my shoulder. I feel that everyone should have someone with them at all times. I enjoy their company as much as they enjoy mine. Before I leave my client's houses I make sure they had a good day.

I am a very caring and patient person. I understand that anyone can have a bad day but I hope that I can cheer them up and make them smile. I love taking care of others and doing things to make there day better. If I can make someone have a better day or do something they enjoy, I feel like I have accomplished something. As a teenager I was introduced to the duties of a home health aid when my grandmother was struck down with a terminal illness. Years later, after having worked in office administration for many years, I decided to go back to my roots and devote myself to the care and assistance of those who can be particularly challenging for health care professionals. Though I have cared for clients of different ages and needs, I am blessed to have a particular talent with people suffering from dementia and Alzheimers. I consider the role of a caregiver to be much more than simply providing basic care. I enjoy learning a client's personal preferences, challenges, and what brings them enjoyment. I've been a caregiver since 2005 for private and nursing facities I have my CNA license there are lapsed right now ...but I have done alot of private care and I enjoy the private care over nursing homes or hospitals because you have the time to get too know your clients and have the time to do everything for them that they need even becoming friends with them and there familys. I have great refrences and am able to start work a.s.a.p just moved back to Point Pleasant and am in need of work.
