I have been a caregiver/support worker for 15 years. I obtained my CNA1 and CNA2 after caring for my Grandfather as hr battles cancer and my grandmother with dementia. I worked for several years specifically with children of special needs and found my niche with seniors. I love being a Caregiver ! I worked in corporate America selling HP and IBM Computers for twenty plus years until my dear father suffered a heart attack. A few days later, I left my job to help my mom care for him. Shortly after he died, my beloved mom suffered a massive stroke and I cared for her for 9 years until her passing 3 years ago. I realized shortly after she passed that care giving was what I wanted to do as career.
