What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is that it's my calling and what I'm passionate about. It comes very naturally for me after being in this profession for over 30 years. I have a lot of compassion for the elderly and anybody that actually needs help in home What attracted me to caretaking was that I cared for my grandma that had dementia and other issues for three and a half years I love being able to do the one-on-one with people it just gives them more sense of the feeling that they're actually cared about it's hard to get that in a facility I am very proud of the person I've become I have a lot of compassion I'm willing to go above and beyond for any family it just makes me feel like a better person
