1. I became a Caregiver when I was a young girl at the age of seven. I helped my great grandmother when she broke her hip at age seventy five. I helped her with physical therapy, medication, and meeting her many needs. Later on when I was flying for Delta Airlines as a flight attendant, my grandmother was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Every chance I had when I was not flying, I would help take care of all her needs. She lived for a few more years after the diagnosis, and it meant so much to me to be there for her during this time. 2. I love giving and doing for others by caring for them doing their time of need. It makes me feel like a true Christian to care for others in this way. It affects my inner soul that I am indeed doing God's work in this regard. I really love caring for others and I prove that every day with my friends and family. 3. I am proud that I have been married for almost twenty five years and have two wonderful children. It takes a lot of sacrifice, hard work, and understanding to have a great marriage and raise your children the right way. I love being a wife, mother, and the best Caregiver to them I can be. 4. As mentioned above, I am married with two beautiful children. I worked for Delta Airlines for thirteen years and taught preschoolers part time at a Church School for another fifteen years. I am college educated, CPR and First Aid Certified, and hard working. Based on my life experiences taking care of my great grandmother and grandmothe

I have over 6 years of caregiving experience. I have worked in various places like Hospitals, Nursing homes and in home care. From 1999 to 2005 I was a Certified Nursing Assistant and went to a 2 year college to get my Associates degree in nursing, however due to hardships I did not finish and get my degree. I took a break from nursing for over 10 years to pursue a different career in retail Management. I just recently within the past year decided to get back into care giving/nursing.
I enjoy helping others. I love being a caregiver to be able to help the ones that cannot do for themselves or just being there to make sure they have what they need. I am very dependable and love what I do. I will go above and beyond for my clients as I would want for myself or my family. N
I am a very passionate person. I like learning each individual patient and their needs. At first, it was scary working with the nursing home, but once I got used to things, I fell in love. I enjoyed learning life stories from the people I helped care for and it was nice to make them happy even if it were little things like a christmas card. I think I personally learn how to care for each patient by learning their ways and how they react to different situations.
I have always been passionate about home health work because it allows seniors to stay in the home they spent their life building. I enjoy doing things out doors, I like to take my patients on walks (it able) around outside, or just to sit and the porch and soak up the sun. I have found in previous patients just that simple act is such a treat to the elderly who are home bound.
I have always loved taking care of people. It's been my calling. When I first started talking care of the elders and the disabled , Down syndrome clients/Patient it's been very rewarding to see their smiling faces and helping them throughout the day with a daily routines. Driving them to their doctors appointments, helping with shopping and helping with bills etc. I love going home everyday knowing that I got to help someone. With that makes me smile make the world a better place and not only that it make me want do more for people here in my community that can't afford a personal care agency.
