I'm a people person who is a very caring individual who love to help other's and is very detail oriented and has many years of experience caring for the elderly or Sick people which I enjoy doing and giving them tender loving care which is important for improving there health and life!!!!
I dealt with a variety of people of different ages and backgrounds. I learned to have empathy for my clients instead of sympathy. I treat every person like they are my family member and how I would want to be treated if I was ever in their position. Seeing and hearing how people are mistreated when they need care made me want to take care of others. I can't help everyone in the world but the ones that I can, I want to provide the best services I can. I enjoy seeing my clients smile and them knowing that there are good people in the world who take pride in caring for others. A personal achievement I am proud of is obtaining my CNA and attending college to further my education in nursing to provide a better experience for my clients.
What makes me a great caregiver is I love helping others and making them smile. I like hands on work. I'm very responsible, respectful and dependable. I became a caregiver when I first started caring for my grandma who had dementia. the bond you have with your client and the family when you are a great caregiver is a great feeling. I feel that when im older, I would want someone like myself there to help if I need help. Being a caregiver is more then a job, you are responsible for another person's well being.

I have respect and dignity for all my clients. As a cargiver, I never provide care for the individual just for a paycheck. I always care for the indivudal as if it was my mother or father. The wisdom of an elderly individual was what attracted me to becoming a caregiver. The wisdom of an elder is amazing.
