Hello. My name is Dahny. My husband and I are parents to three boys; age 8, 10, and 12. They are great kids. Helping others have always been second nature to me. Before I had my boys, I was a foster mom to a new born baby boy. I picked him up from the hospital when he was 3 days old. I took care of him for about three months before he was adopted by a family who had adopted his brother. It was difficult letting him go but I knew he would be okay growing up with a biological brother. Shortly after my darling foster child left, I found my husband and we started our family almost right away. I spent 10 years taking care of my family. With my boys in school full time, I went back to helping others as a caregiver and I love it. I take care of everyone under my watch like my own family. I treat everyone with respect, understanding, and with kindness. I am grateful and proud that I have only had positive feedback from past clients.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I' am very passionate about my job. I love working for others, providing the necessary care to improve the quality of life for my clients, I' am very patient, I' am a good listener, I communicate affectively, I' am a quick thinker, problem solver, and very caring. I became a caregiver to help others during a very delicate time. It is not always easy to ask for help, or receive help from anyone. This is what drives me to help others. To help them feel comfortable and cared for. I enjoy making others happy. A personal achievement I' am proud is returning to school part time to receive a social work degree.

Hello and thank you for your consideration. I have been a caregiver since I took care of my grandmother 15 years ago. I have a happy optimistic personality, am pleasant and well spoken. I have a natural easygoing rapport with most elders. I know it isn't easy getting older. Not every day is a good day and I know when to step back and allow for a little more peace and quiet. The last long term person I was honored to care for was 94 years old. I was with him for 7 years. I managed all of his personal care, medications, doctor's appointments, transportation needs. I managed all household needs such as grocery shopping and household maintenance. The last 6 months he was bedridden. I took care of all his advanced care needs. In the last year leading up to his passing, I managed a 24 hour care team. When I care for a loved one, whether a younger or a bit older senior, I want them to trust in my care and to have a peace of mind. As a caregiver, I provide that. Hello. My name is Kara and I am over 45 years old. I entered the caregiving/nursing world when my Son was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 3. After several years and many more battles my interest in nursing & caregiving grew. I was unable to finish nursing school due to my sons many battles with leukemia (including 2 BMT's) but through it I obtained so much knowledge from taking care of him and going to school. I have cared for many people with many different needs and I easily adapt to new patients and their specific needs. I very much find peace in helping others & maintaining as much normalcy/independence as possible for them. Along with some laughs & smiles. I have several references that can be contacted as well.
