Hi my name is Patti and I love taking care of people ever since I was a little girl. I used to take care of my younger siblings and pretend that they were mine. I love babysitting as I got older and then had children and grandchildren of my own to care for. Happiest time of my life. Then I became a Nanny and did that for twenty years. But as I got older I wanted to change my direction and was proud to become a licensed CNA, I decided that I would like to take care of the elderly. This is very fulfilling to me. I like to read and do crafts in my spare time. I am very neat and organized and I like to stay busy. I am CPR and first aid certified and have had a federal background check. I have a level one security clearance. I have experience working in a Nursing home and in home care. Most of my experience has been working with Memory care. I have been a caregiver for well over 20 Plus years. I have love and compassion for the elderly. As a child I was always close to my grandmother, when I became an adult and she got up in age. I moved back from out of town, to take care of her until she died at age 102 on Christmas Day . After the passing of my grandmother I started working as a home health care provider and showing that same love and compassion I had for my grandmother to other elderly clients. I believe in catering to the elderlies every need in their golden years they deserve to be treated with the utmost kindness and respect.

I have been a caregiver for 40 years . I have seen thousands of patients from all backgrounds. My biggest achievement is caring for a Quadrapeligic for 10 years, a young man with a spinal cord injury , It was an honor to see him adapt to his injury and overcome obsticals. I am currently looking for a position with around 15 hours per week. Please no heavy lifting, my back is in retirement. I am willing to do all other aspects of care and light housework.
