I have been a CNA for 12 years! I've worked in Skilled Nursing facility. I Adapt well to any setting, have a positive outlook any situations, enjoy being out doors, great communication skills, I enjoy being CNA seeing how can make a difference in someone's life and know my help is making one feel better, I have experience in Alzheimer's,dementia, transfers monitoring vitals, training in pre an post surgeries, hospice training and assisting with feeding companionship . received the presidential award at my job in September 2017 from management for my "great attitude and grooming care of patients participating in walking, documentation and employment history ". When I was a teenager, my grandmother needed extra care and my mother didn't always have time to do everything necessary, so I stepped in and shared in the care of my grandmother. She always told me that I would make a great care giver and that I could bring joy to alot of people due to my compassionate personality. Also, when my late husband had Leukemia, I cared for him in all facets of the care, including bathing, feeding, helping in the bathroom, etc., until he died 2 years ago. I also cared for my best friend, til she died from heart failure a few years ago. I believe that these experiences have solidified my ability and desire to help others, even if it is simply in the capacity of companion. **About my fee; my fee ranges any where between 13.00 per hour to 15.00 per hour depending on the case, the work involved and the time of day.
