My name is Maria Roman. I have been a caregiver for 4 years . I have experience in grooming , light cleaning , meal preparation, taking V/S ,toileting , administrating medication. I also have my CPR card . I have worked with clients with depression, hepatitis, tracheostomy's, g-tube and many more things as well. I love what I do . I enjoy helping people who are in need .

I became a great caregiver due to my patients, I am a good listener, I learn by observing what my client may need or want. I was attracted to becoming a caregiver when I knew I wanted to be a nurse, I started housekeeping at a hosptial and I wanted to work my way up from there. Smiles and laughter of a client is what I enjoy most about being a caregiver. When they know you are there to put their safety and needs first. My personal achievement I am proud of is going to Psych Tech school that help me gain more knowledge and understanding of human behavior and disorders.

I want to help my clients as much as possible so they can stay in their own home. I love working with the elderly and disabled you can learn so much. Helping other people. My military service. I am a veteran of 20 years and I feel this is one of my greatest accomplishments.

I've been in the medical field for over 13+ years and I absolutely love it. I started in the medical field right out of High School and I'm currently attending school to receive my Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management. I want to continue to expand my knowledge and be a great pillar in the Medical Community. I'm extremely skilled with Majority of all Medical Conditions and treat others with respect.
