Hello My name is Toniette Plummer. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant. I have over 30 years of Experience of taking care of the Elderly. I truly enjoy taking care of people and making sure they are safe and get the care they need.

I believe that the best trait in me is determination. I like to encourage my patients to do as much as they can on their own with me their so that they do not lose their independance. My passion in the healthcare setting is unlimited and I have had the availability to attain employment in almost every role from PCA to NA. I love to put a smile on someones face especially when they have had a rough day or appointment. A personal achievement would be working full time and in nursing school as well as working on the RN-BSN while raising a child on my own.

My years of experience started as child careing for my younger siblings. As I matured my passion turn twards seniors for they wisdom and care they give to me as a young abult . In elementary my school nurse became my mentor ,I use to spend every break in the nurses office watching and admiring her as she Passionately care for the children's. I enjoy the smile on a person face after being cared for. My ability to adopte to new environment and new people.

I became highly interested in the health care field because I knew I could make a positive difference in people's lives. I am great people's person that is well outspoken. My work stands out from others and certainly speaks for itself. I have plenty of experience, working at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the Emergency department. Currently have my CNA, GNA, & PCT. Not only will I get the job done but I always exceed my expectations. I strive for perfection at ALL times, no exceptions at all. Always willing to go that extra mile to satisfy my patient. I am fast paced as well as a quick learner, and always on time or earlier for work. I am a very positive person with a goal in my life that will be achieved. Always thinking positive of any and every situation, no matter what the case maybe. I make sure my work is well analyzed and complete in an orderly fashion at the end of the day. I enjoy working with people and helping them in anyway, I am COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) by trade, I have worked in SNF and outpatient therapy for about six years. I love being able to help a patient regain independence and help them compensate with a disability.

I truly feel that being a caregiver is my purpose here on earth! It gives me so much joy to put a smile on my clients face! I watched my mother take care of my sick grandmother as a child! The love, the patience and privacy she always showed her mom was priceless! She made my grandmother smile every day! Later, in life when I was a teenager, I had to step up and help my mom due to surgery. I took so much pride In taking care of my mom. I can go on and on about being a caregiver!
