Hello my name is Kya Broadway, I have been a caregiver for four years. In elementary school I remember my teacher asking what would I like to be when I got older and my response " a nurse!" I have watched my mom in the nursing field for years after nursing she became a phlebotomist and I always felt the need to follow her foot steps due to me having a disabled sister and grandmother having her leg amputated! So I spent my adults years interested in helping others. Taking care of my clients really makes my day and makes me happy knowing I left an impact on others! Everyone that I have helped along my journey of being a caregiver has always expressed how important I am to them and how I brighten their lives so much more. I've been a CNA & ERtech for 20+ years from hospitals, home-care,hospice to schools,no job is too small or large if there's a need I can fill or fit into. My mother was an RN that owned a large senior day care that I grew up in, in her twilight years I became her caregiver so I've been on both sides of the 'caregiver' role, I know how hard it is to find a good match and how important dependability, honesty and a compassionate heart is.
