I really enjoy helping people, and improving their quality of life. I've been working in healthcare since 1999, and feel I bring a wealth of experience to the job. I have a wonderful sense of humor (which I feel is a necessity) and I love to hear a client's story. I have had Systemic Lupus for several years, so I would prefer not to due a lot of heavy lifting. I would assess on a case by case basis.

I am very compassionate and empathetic. I have taken care of others for many years including family members suffering from dementia as well as other cognitive and physical disorders. I enjoy helping others obtain happiness and contentment while being able to live in a home setting. The best part of being a care giver is the personal reward. I really enjoy being a caregiver, it gives me a chance to be help someone, as we will all need help one day also it gives me a chance to connect with people who may feel like they are forgotten about. Over the years I lost all four of my grandparents to cancer. I became a caregiver because I want to help people that are going through the same obstacles they once were. Helping people is my passion. The best feeling in the world is making a slight difference in one's life, making someone smile is everything. When I take care of my resident's and I recieve a smile it makes me feel like I've done a wonderful job. What attracted me to caregiving is going to the nursing home everyday and seeing my grandfathers nurses and aides come in, they always had a smile on their face and it gave him one too. The things they did for him were amazing and I wanted to do the same for someone else's grandparents.

I started working as a certified nursing assistant and I did that for about 2 years. I wasn't to fond of how rushed the nursing home setting is so I left that line of work. I missed working with my residents so much and knew I just needed to do something more individualized. That way I knew I was giving each person the proper amount of care and socialization that every human being needs. Which is where I know that home health was my calling. I have a certificate in mental health which helps a lot of people when they are in need of a someone who can put them at ease. I have two littles of my own and I also have pets so those won't deter me from helping anyone.

Hi! My name is Hope and I am 22 years old. I first started in the field of care giving in 2016 after I completed my boces class for nursing in high school. Helping people has always been my passion. Learning I can make a difference in peoples lives keeps me going and only makes me want to do more. In the last few months I went to school, recently became a Cna and started working at a senior nursing facility. I love my job. Waking up and realizing you get to help multiple loved ones is a blessing to me. I provide exceptional care and compassion to everything I do. I have a handsome 2 year old son and elder parents who also need my help as well. Sometimes it's difficult balancing my personal life and my work life. But the outcome is amazing and I wouldn't change it for the world!. Being in the health field I've met many people of different walks of life, and I can say it's a beautiful thing. Getting to know different ways people live, their religion, background, ethnicity etc. has been very knowledgeable and a great blessing because I know I can take it with me wherever I go. Turning me and my mom his full time aid support . So I decided to take this career path . I am currently employed, I have been working with the family for over a year now and she's going into a nursing home oct. 15th .
