I started helping my mom with my dad when I was 14 yrs old after he had a stroke. I fell in love with helping people. My favorite thing about being a caregiver aside from helping them with what they need is the bonds that are formed. The clients sort of become family. I'm a mom to 2 kids and bonus mom to 3 others. Raising them in this dark world to be kind and loving and respectful as well as respectable is my biggest accomplishment.

I am a very caring/ loving person. The elderly community has a special place in my heart always. The love you receive back from them is what makes me love being a caregiver, Watching the love coming from them just makes the day. I'm a mother of 3 so I am very focused, I work hard and I will always be there. Very dependable

5 years experience working with dementia patients. I took care of my grandmother for 5 years until she passed. General house duties sweeping mopping ect meal prep helping with hygiene. At this time I do not have a car, but I do have a license that is current, but I am able to use my daughter's car.. I understand about people with difficulties, my mother had cancer and I took care of her till she passed that was hard. I got hired with another agency but they did not have enough clients to send me out. She did say I tested 3rd highest in company, her name can be supplied if wanted phone number too. I do care about people and do want the best for them. I was employed with the Senior Nutrition Program for 12 years only lost job because they were downsizing and wanted me to work in Palm Springs. I was a manager worked up from driver delivering meals so I do know about dealing with all types of senior problems. I like animals so if they have any it would not be a problem. I hope to find a live in position. No smoking I have had a background check by Gain program and this program, a TB test negative by my doctor also have CPR certificate

I love helping! My grandmother had a huge influence on my life. I have done everything from a to z in eldercare situations. I love it. I don't have grandparents anymore, so my clients are special people in my life. I'm basically quiet but always positive and smiling. I have my CNA, I worked on the Cardiac monitors, so I feel comfortable with situations where some don't. I also took my LPN but didn't test, bc my father was dying from cancer.. I took care of him and realized I liked taking care of people and serving on an up close and personal level.

I enjoy the most about caregiving when clients talk to me about fun stories about their past. I enjoy being their voice to hear whenever they are sad or need a friend to talk to. I enjoy watching western shows and I enjoy most to cook and clean for them.

Compassionate, Companion, positive, patient, jolly, honest, trustworthy, dependable, prompt, and flexibility. I always had a passion in caring for people; My mother has been in the medical field, so i always looked up her; I'm most proud of becoming a certified HHA after the pandemic hit.

I started doing private care about 8 years ago 4 years into it I realized I liked doing it . So I went and got certified to broaden my work area . Last year I was nominated for CNA of the year at the last facility I worked . Then I went to mission hospice . People asked me when they find out I worked for a hospice company they ask ain't that a difficult job . I responded with "no it is a blessing and I learn so much from the people I take care of ."

Helping taking care of my papa is what made me wanna have this job. I enjoy most helping and putting a smile on someone's else's face. My job and helping others feel like someone cares for them.
