I started taking care of my own uncle who is a double amputee with severe diabetic. I had to put him on a bathing PT, and regular doctor visits. After moving back to the Bay Area I found I really enjoy taking care of others and have taken care of a few private people. Now I was asked to volunteer until my background checks come back for Moraga Royale.

I am a people person. I have a passion for caring for others. I think that stems from not having anyone to care for me when I needed it. I don't ever want anyone to know that feeling. What I love most about being a caregiver is the connections I make with my clients. My proudest moment in this field caring for others is the smile or acknowledgement I get when they see me. Melts my heart every time.

I am a 49 year old nana to 10 beautiful grandbabies. I have worked in nursing homes, and altimzers units, to lock down units. I like to read, watch movies and sing. I also have an associates degree i. Business management. I have had a cna and a medical assisgance license for over 22 years but i let it laps. I have tried other jobs from financing to repossession. Yes it may pay well but it doesnt make my heart feel the way it does when im an helling people. One thing i am most proud of is ive managed to raise 3 beautiful sons and i have had 13 foster kids. You have to patience, understanding and both sympathy and empathy to do this job. You have to care and want to help people. In the end I love the way being a crar giver feels. I love helping families take care of their loved ones so they can keep them at their home.

My strong combination experience position me uniquely to serve. 2) The role appealed because of the increased responsibility, the more challenging of helping provide support to the patients , but mainly it was to be able extend my skills to elderly and Adolescent. 3)Being able to accommodate each person with total care and with dignity, privacy, bathing, grooming, feeding, overseeing the safety and emotional needs ability to fulfill my obligation to each one I come in contact with. 4) Combination experiences position me uniquely to serve as a Patient Care Technician, Mental Health Technician, I work numerous projects involving Rehabilitation, Monitor Technician, Nurse Assistant, Home Health Aide. My schooling at University Of Arlington help me to achieve Phlebotomy, Electrocardiogram/EKG.

I am a great caregiver because I put my heart into this field. I genuinely care and do not look at this as just another job. I have sympathy and put myself in other people's shoes. I treat them how I would want my grandmother or mother treated, or even how I would want to be treated. This field isn't for everyone. It is for me though. I offer one of a kind companionship as I know the difficulties and struggles that people deal with daily. It is hard to not be able to do what you once did and needing someone to do it for you. I understand. I'm there when family can't be there or just won't be there or when there is none. I love knowing that I'm making a positive impact in someone's life.

I have a very bubbly personality and heart to do this job. I've been a CNA for 15 years and specialize in Alzheimer's and dementia. I enjoy helping the elderly have a better quality of life . I love being able to be that family member a resident doesn't have to get them thru each day!

I'm empathetic, compassionate and patient. Trustworthy, the person I will be caring for are inviting someone into their home to be near their valuables. As well as in being trusted to keep the client's information confidential. Flexible, as with most things in life, home care needs may change and unexpected events can happen. I have always placed a priority on helping other people.

I am very friendly and open minded. I want to be able to help others in any way that I can. I enjoy helping others. I try to treat people as if they were my own family and give them the best care I can.

When i was in high school i used to do lots of community service at our local Assisted Living in Canadian, Tx. I'd enjoy helping with puzzles, playing dominos, and even just hearing friendly conversations about others around. I'd also help out when the residents would go out enjoy the fresh air and get to go on trips out to see ranches or local stores. I personally have always felt so attached to residents just cause i never really grew up with grandparents and having them around just felt loving. I love being able to grow with them and seeing so much history they love to tell us about. Personally i have learned a lot by growing in different families lives I've learned different situations residents have gone through and how to adapt to them.

I've became caregiver for the experience in the healthcare industry and because I love to care for those who need. I'm very passionate about my job choice. Caregiving is just the first step to helping people. I'm a sweet, patient, and reliable caregiver.
