I got into provider services because I want to help those in need, I love the elderly and like to hear their stories. I am a mother of 2 girls, a wife, I love to do photography on the side and draw as a hobby. Im big on holidays and try to help my clients feel spirited and joyful especially on their hard days.

My name is Monya castillo I am a mother of three girls I am a honest, reliable person, I'm patient , I'm kind I have a lot of empathy towards people. I have assisted several families in the past with senior care needs. All of which were suffering from multiple issues and ailments. The family needed to be a core part of the caregiving experience. Ensuring that they were aware of their loved one's progress and informed or part of making the decisions. It's a family experience, and that's how I like to treat caregiving. I love to interact with patients I care a lot about the people I take care of. The reason I've always chosen caregiving is because my grandmother and grandfather is someone i always took care of and loved doing that. They are no longer here and it's something that has a piece of my heart always. :)

What makes me a great caregiver is that I treat my clients as if they where my family I'm great at what I do and will give 110% always. I became a caregiver because I took care of my grandma and I loved doing what I did to help her. What I like about being a caregiver is that I get to spend time getting to know my clients and I get to take care of them and make sure they have what they need. My personal achievement that I am proud of is growing as a person and doing what I love in life and also going to college to pursue what I love.

I am a very compassionate, caring, loving and empathetic person. I started my career in the medical field as server at a nursing home which led to me going to school to become a CNA. I have over 10 years of taking care of the elderly especially those who suffer from Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease. My whole life I have always loved taking care of other people as well as animals. I am proud that with this training I was able to care for my grandparent's and currently help with my mother.

I am a gentle person who loves helping people and spreading joy from one person to another. I understand what it means to put a smile on some-ones face. I do; I enjoy helping people become better versions of themselves and allowing people to speak their minds. I wanted to be a caregiver for a while now. I've heard stories about people helping those in need who truly need it the most by going above and beyond for them. I strive to be better than most. Hi my name is Gina, I am a CERTIFIED NURSE AID (CNA) of 15 years. I have experience in working in nursing homes, private care, hospice, assisted living and as a traveling Cna as well. What helps me be a great caregiver is helping out families with their loved ones. I love helping out my residents, I help them with every day living needs. I'll keep you company and protect you while under my care. What made me want to become a Cna was when I was a teen, I was working at a facility as a housekeeper and my Aunt was a resident at facility I worked at. My Aunt was blind so she would put the call light or yell for help, well as a housekeeper I was told that we are not to assist residents only can wheel them into dinning room. Well I was mopping down a hall way across from where my aunt would stay and I seen her call light blinking, so I said to myself well the Cna will get it soon. I went back to mopping, I'm down a diff hall now and I still see her light on and I hear her yelling, so I tell the nurse and they said they be there in a bit, nurse went out to smoke and I can still hear her calling out for help. Well I was busy doing my job, next thing I know I see that paramedics rushing into her room and so I left what I was doing and went to see why paramedics went to her room. I come up to her room and what I saw made me run out and call my mother which was her sister. I was soooo furious, what I saw was the EMT guy giving her cpr she was on the floor with blood everywhere and she passed away. I was so upset with the nurses, that if only they would have taken 5 mins out there time to answer that call light or answer her yelling for help she would be here. So after all this passes I told myself I was going to take the Cna class and be a better caregiver than they we're showing me that day. I don't like to ignore light or call for help. I want to be there to protect them, some residents don't have anyone, we as a caregiver are their family. I listen, I love, I help, I care

I've done this job for 24 years and have always gone above and beyond for all of my residents...the one thing I enjoy the most about my job is working in my Alzheimer's unit ...

I have been working in healthcare for over 10 years, i have worked with my clients for years. I work with a wide range of different clients, and they have all really loved my work ethic and understanding of different situations. I enjoy helping others have the really best quality of life that they can.
