Hi, I'm Tasha, I am looking forward to working with amazing people. I have been in health care my entire life in one way or another. I have worked im nursing homes, assisted living and in private homes. I have cared for people "from the cradle to the grave". I have worked with people with different degrees of mental, physiological and developmental status. I love conversation, I learn so much by just conversing. I believe that, if one wants to, any encounter can be a learning experience. I treat those I care for (clients), as I would treat anyone I cared for (family, friends). As a client, you are someone's "something" parent, child, spouse, sibling, etc. And you, as a person, are worthy of positive interactions, relationships, and a quality of life. My job is to relate that to you, in action and in thought. You have a right to be the person you were meant to be. You are the only one in control, you know your wants and desires, who am I to judge you, or talk against you and your wishes. I am not saying that EVERYTHING you want will be handed to you, but..is it really a big deal if you have dessert before or after a meal? I've worked with a lot of people (cradle to the grave) who have others put "demands" and "ought toos" and "shouldn't haves" on their loved ones. With moderation, does it really matter if the shower is given day or at night? Pending other plans, but, my life has been a struggle, why complicate it more with unnecessary "demands" all the time. I hope our time together will be meaningful and we can learn something new from each other along the way.

I like the elderly, they have lots of knowledge. I helped both my parents before they passed. Both had dementia of some degree. I love to cook. I take pride in my work. I will shop and will laundry and make sure everything is clean and well sanitized be leaving.

What makes me a great caregiver is that, I'm loving, compassionate, and very caring. What made me become a caregiver is my great grandmother that I was caring for had Dementia. And I have been a caregiver/Cna since 2005. What attracted me to being a caregiver is that I truly love to help people especially the people who can longer do for themselves or who just need companionship. What I love most about being a caregiver is just being able to help someone and make their life a little bit easier and bring them comfort. My personal achievement that I'm most proud of is being able to advancing in the medical field. I went from a caregiver, Cna, phlebotomist , to a future medical assistant. I have also been a Cna for the past 15-16 yrs working in long term care facilities.

I am a Licensed Vocational Nurse who's passion is to love and care for the elderly and make them feel comfortable as well as safe. Being a caregiver brings me true joy being able to put a smile on there face and make a positve difference in the day to day life routine. I enjoy mostly about being a caregiver is learning, listening to all the stories and experiences they have to share of their own they have occured in life, simply makes my heart within smile.

With history in medical field I feel in love with the patients. I have knowledge of medical assistant, sitter, past CNA and even in phlebotomy. I am enjoy helping others , it is my passion , I am currently enrolled in college as well bettering my skills to help others. I enjoy bringing joy to others lives and helping them enjoy their lives as well. I am patient and feel I can get along with most anyone no matter the circumstances .

I became a caregiver because I have always enjoyed helping people and find it rewarding.
