Hello there. I'm Gabby. I'm a very outgoing, energetic, positive vibes CNA and currently working on obtaining my RN degree licensure. I offer excellent care for your loved ones, giving you the peace of mind you need and deserve. As a single mom of three teenagers (now all 3 are in college!) I moved to North Carolina 8 years ago to be closer to my own aging parents. In 2015, Dad became wheelchair bound with Parkinsons and Mom was no longer able to care for him. I rolled up my sleeves and made the necessary renovations on my home there and moved them both in with me. I pushed pause on my nursing studies and was able to spend some great quality time with Dad before he passed away a week before Christmas in December 2018. Mom's dementia had been progressing, so I became his sole caregiver and provided for his every need until he "graduated." Three months later, Mom had a massive stroke rendering her the equivalent of a three year old. No longer able to dress, toilet, or feed herself or even articulate what she needed, I stepped up to the plate again and began caring for her 24/7 until her death one year ago. I would not trade even a millisecond of the time I was able to be with my parents. It allowed me some great moments with each of them and helped me fine tune my skills as a professional caregiver. I've been involved in homecare/caregiving most of my life. My experience has been in different settings; nursing homes, assisted living and private duty homecare. Nowadays though I prefer working in a private setting. I've done other types of work but none as rewarding as homecare. I realized early on in life I had an easy rapport with older people, listening to their stories of another era, empathizing with any struggles they may be having and just being a friend and companion. For me there is nothing more fulfilling .

My name is angel. I am 26. I am newly married. I do not have children. I have worked for 5 plus years with adults and youth with disabilities. I worked 2 years in a skilled nursing facility. I have been doing in home care for seniors for about 2 years.

I am a very up beat, positive, and service-oriented person who loves working with elderly people. I have been in the service industry for 42 years. I have over 10 years experience working with the elderly. I also have experience working with blind and hearing impaired individuals as well as those with Alzheimer's disease.

I always wanted to be a caregiver since I was young. I love helping the people around me, so caring for others came naturally. My main inspiration for becoming a caregiver would have to be my grandma, who used to be a nurse. I always looked up to her because she was such an amazing lady. My favorite part about being a caregiver would have to be seeing that my help is making a difference in someone's life. I loved being a cna, it was the best experience ever. it made me happy because i made the residents happy as well. i always put a smile on their faces. What attracted me to be a cna i took a class in high school we did clinics and i fell in love with it so i stuck with it. i enjoyed playing games with them walking them around and just being able to talk to them. Achievement i am proud of is always helping others before myself.
