I love working with older people because I know one day I'm going to get older and I'm gonna need someone to take care of me. And to see the smiles on their faces and how much they appreciate me makes me love my job even more that's why I went to school to become a CNA.

A passionate caregiver is positive, enthusiastic, and happy and lets this shine through when working with the people in their care. Passionate caregivers always look for ways to improve the lives of those they work with. Compassion or empathy is the ability to put yourself in the shoes of someone else and that's just why I do. I try to focus on the positive in every situation life throws at me. Having an Associates degree in Substance abuse counseling, allows me to help others because I believe that is my purpose here on earth. God has truly blessed me to be allow you grasps the knowledge and skill set throughout this thing we call life. I have over fifteen years of experience in caregiver but to be honest I have been a caregiver since I was eight years. My mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when I was just a child. I willingly gave up my childhood to ensure my mother was cared for to the best of my ability. Being her companion as a daughter and a caregiver really gave me joy and allowed me to recognize my purpose at a young age. I love what I do and I take proud in helping those in need. I guess the main question would be why should I be a good candidate for the position offered. Well I believe I am one of the best caregivers only because I have dedicated my entire life to improving and enjoying caring for others. This has allowed me to be the woman I am today. I love being a caregiver because my brother is 26 and autistic. & I'm 21. So I've had to take care of him my entire life. & I love the responsibility of taking care of someone the right way & knowing they are taken care of. I'm proud to take on a role like this because it's rewarding.

I am a fun loving mother of 3. I do with those who may need someone in their live to help with daily needs. My grandmother raised me, and still to this days flies from California to see my children. I never want someone to feel like they have no one, the elderly cared for me my whole life. I have alot of love too give back.

Hello ! My name is Malaya , I've been a caregiver for 4 years and a CNA for one. I am a social butterfly and I enjoy getting to know and helping others. During high school I volunteered at an assisted living center my mom worked at so I knew this was something I wanted to pursue.

I am very bubbly and optimistic. I've done CNA work which makes me want to expand it out a little bit. My personal achievement I'm most proud of is working on myself to be more open.

I like to crochet blankets, write, ride horses, garden, and spend time with my family. I also like to read books aloud.

I have great compassion for people especially our elderly and vets. I enjoy helping and being there for my people in need. I have sympathy and empathy for people . I understand how it is. For both patients and the pressure it puts on the family especially the ones who have to do the caregiving. I am also a very patient with people. Working in a memory care facility I've learned how to deal with the special needs of those kind of patients.
