I have found that my passion/calling is to care for the elderly and/or individuals, who can't do so for themselves. My heart is overwhelmed with genuine happiness when providing care and/or maintaining a personal relationship with each resident, client, and/or patient. I sincerely love fulfilling my heart's desires & passion by providing care, love, companionship, friendship, and even medical care to individuals; resulting in them having a sense of peace, as they go through life changes and having to deal with situations that may be unfamiliar. I find that doing so & providing the utmost respectful care to each of them, brings forth a growth for even myself, as I continue my education into becoming an RN (later to bridge into Nurse Practitioner). Daily, I am seeking the latest knowledge and skill so hopefully I can improve my care traits daily, to a wider/higher demand of clients. I am most definitely proud of a personal achievement in my life pertaining to my husband (who was diagnosed with late stages of Testicular cancer twice)! After receiving a prognosis of 18 months, I decided to further my education & resources, in hopes to find more options....and I did! After nearly 2 years, he is now in remission & cancer-free! This is not to boast about what I did, but instead the 'determination, drive, & passion', that I was blessed with. I will ALWAYS go above & beyond in providing the best care for clients & their family members! I believe there is always room for growth and in order to do so, you must first humble yourself to what you were called to do, whatever that may be!

I am a very caring ,patient ,compassionate, dependable and i provide care from my heart. I've always cared for other people and loved doing it. I enjoy putting a smile on my clients face just uplifting their spirits just warms my heart. A personal achievement I'm proud of is starting my own home care service.

Hi, I'm Ilyanna I'm currently in school to become a CNA but I've previously worked at UAB Hospital on a surgical unit. Helping Patients with Dementia, Cancer, Kidney Disease, Liver Disease or even some patients just needed help with simple activities like getting to the restroom and helping with pain management. I've also worked as a caregiver it. I started off helping take care of my Grandmother with Dementia and then transitioned to helping her while she was on hospice. I have a passion for my job and hope to one day start my own Caregiving business. I know it's not always about taking care of someone! Sometimes we just need company! Someone to talk to or just spend the day with.

My name is Jeannie Smith I am 35 years old. I have worked in the medical field for 11 years. In those 11 years I have obtained a CNA, CMA, a current CPR and first aid. I have completed all except for 12 weeks of my practical nursing I attended college at Kaplan University in Omaha,NE. I have worked in places such as: nursing homes, assisted living, specialty units (dementia, brain damage), nursing agencies, in home care (private pay), multiple hospitals. I have worked with patients/residents with a variety of aliments such as: dementia, Alzheimer's, cerebral palsy, brain injuries, cancer, paralysis/prosthesis. I feel God places you in different situations and that he's put me in specific situations to make me a better person. I feel that these situations have made me a better CNA such as my brother suffering a coma due to being hit by a drunk driver and my other brother suffering major brain damage and bed ridden due to a massive heart attack/stroke. I know God has placed me here to care for others. And I do that through being a CNA. I love what I do with a passion.

I have been a caregivers for 23 years . I Love it i Enjoy getting to know the Person and their Family. I have tried Doc Offices Hospitals and other places but home Health is we're i Enjoy being. I have gotten attached and felt like i have lost a Great Deal when i have had a Patient Pass. Attachment is my biggest worry. I Really get Close to my Patient
