I care about helping elderly people and children that have a disability. When you love taking care of people and it's a blessing to want to do it, because some elderly people don't have family and you willing to step in and help.. God will bless you. You have to treat people the way you want to be treat.. One day we going to get old and we need the help. My achievement is that I help them to do whatever needs to be done, while they in my present of care.

I have been working with Geriatric patients since 2008, after graduating high school. Going into healthcare knowing nothing about it, I began my career working in a Alzheimer's / Dementia unit. Since then I have also worked with post acute patients, those who require care after their hospital stay and are not able to return home right away. I take great pride in my nursing career and caring for others. I enjoy building relationships with my patients and their families. Being a care giver gives me the opportunity to bring joy to someone's life, making life a little easier, and impacting the quality of life for my patients.

I enjoy taking care of people who need my help. I am a Christian lady with strong Christian values. I don't smoke, love animals, and I am a energetic and happy person. I have 2 sons and they are in college. I enjoy planting flowers, fishing, hunting, and going to church. I take pride in all that I do especially when it comes to taking care of another's family members. I spoil my patients and treat them with love and respect and I treat them as if they are my own family . I believe in being punctual and not leaving early for work or anything. I have experience in taking care of autism, ALS, cancer, cholostomy bags, bed ridden, Alzheimer, dementia, and many other patients and being their companion is also an importance part to the helping of others maintain their independence while being at home. I think what makes me a great caregiver is the experience I've had in my life, from an early age I spent most of my time in the hospital, having surgery after surgery, bed-ridden for years, recovered now, I am even more capable of empathetic and know just the difference I as a caregiver can make in a person's life. I never planned on this career path, I just was given the chance and took it, only to discover how much I truly adore my work.
