I am a loving , caring and on his caregiver.Ive been a caregiver off and on since 1999 and love it.I love spending time with my clients.Taking care the Elderly is my passion.

What would make me be a great caregiver is that i have a sense of empathy, caring either for a small child to and elderly person. I understand and connect most of the time with Patients that they can create a sense of calmness and trust with in me. I also have lots of Patients for those in need of my help i listen to what ever they have to tell me so they can feel some affection towards a caregiver. What attracts me to being a caregiver is that i myself have grandparents living with me i know as getting to a certain age you need help and cant do many things for yourself, There for this is when i realized this would be a perfect job for, since i love to help others in need or may need any type of resources from me. What i enjoy most about being a caregiver is that you get to listen to other people, have a conversation with them and help them feel better. A personal achievement that i am proud of is that i have grown in this career path not only as for who i am but also my capability of managing a professional Medical Assistant in me and helping those in need of my help.

Hi, my name is Maria. Im 55 years old and I live in Sun City West , AZ . I've been a Nursing assistant for 13 years, 5 of which I spent in a Skilled nursing facility , and 8 as a live in caregiver. I'm familiar with many different medical conditions that a person might be experiencing. I believe in anticipating a patients needs and making life easier for them . I want my patients to feel safe and confident in my care. I like to pamper the people I care for. I truly believe that this job was my calling.. I have had many different jobs in my life , and caregiving is my passion. Caring for another human being and doing your best to make them feel comfortable, secure and content is very gratifying, and I take great pride in my work. I enjoy what I do, and will continue to give my best to this profession as long as I'm able to. It is an honor that a family entrusts me to care for their loved ones, and I will not let them down.

I've worked for Hospice for the last 15 years and I'm a mother of 5 kids and 23 grandbabies and taking care of people is what I do. I feel a sense of accomplishment by offering the good care that I give. I have pt's tell me that I'm the best part of their day. Making sure that a person is comfortable is what I do. My hopes and dreams is to own a group home one day.
