I became a caregiver because i enjoy helping others.I like the satisfaction of knowing that i am making someone else's life more tolerable and comfortable.I am proud to say that i have saved a few peoples lives when they stopped breathing or was choking, and i acted quick enough to do that for them.I have been a CNA for 25+ years. Hello, I'm Nicole and I was raised In Germany and Denmark before moving to the USA with my mom in ...well a long time ago. Growing up in a diverse social service worker household, where my Summers and all my school breaks were spent in camps and day cares with kids/adults with special needs, I never considered a career in anything BUT taking care of others. I remember my Great grandma going through the stages of Alzheimers and not fully understanding this, but feeling that she needed lots of love. While so many people are unhappy about their employment I feel blessed to have mine. I'm happy to say that I love doing what I do and I get to do it 24/7It is not a job to me it is my life, my history and my future. I am a highly energetic woman and I love to bring joy to others. At the same time, I'm patient and compassionate and I respect that everyone's situation is unique and needs to be treated as such. I spent nearly 20 years in case management and I came to realize how much I missed Direct Care, especially after taking care of my daughter. One of my favorite sayings is " It is an honor to take care of the ones that once took care of us' I have many many years of experience in a very diverse Social Service background and I don't shy away from any responsibilities. I have always loved working with the elderly since before I became a registered nurse. I like helping others and just listening to their stories. I am dependable and punctual. I am a registered nurse but I am waiting for my license to be transferred from Illinois to Colorado. I am looking for a position where I can use my experience and just help others.

I became a caregiver because of my mom. My mom was actually my very first client. I started caregiving when I was 18 and have been working inside facilities and in-homes since. I am compassionate and patient when it comes to taking care of others. I like to see things (or at least try my best to) how my clients and residents see things so that way I can best help them. I enjoy being able to help my clients and residents live a happier and easier life with the additional help and support from another who cares. I am very proud of how far I've come and how far I continue to reach. I am currently going back to school to be an MA so I can continue to help others around me. I anticipate going all the way to the top in the medical field, working my way up to an NP or PA.

Hi my name is Adrianna Marin, I've been working as a caregiver for a little over a year. I started in November 2020. I'm trained with transferring patients in and out of bed, helping with changing clothes, underwear, or taking them to and from the restroom, feeding them, and also taking vitals! I started caregiving two years ago for my grandma, I noticed she wasn't getting the care she deserved, so I stepped in and took care of her until she passed away. After her passing I still wanted to help other people, and provide excellent care for them. I enjoy the conversations I have with my patients being a caregiver, I learn so much about them.
