Hello my name is Lynda Evans First I want to offer my condolences for your loved one. I understand completely as I cared exclusively for my father for 5 years with congestive heart failure, diabetes, and strokes. I don't just do care giving I am a born Caregiver. Everybody deserves respect and compassion when facing life's challenging obstacles. I also have had medical challenges I have had to overcome and understand how important it is to be positive and stress free and not to focus on what you can't do but accentuate what you can. My clients are very happy with me and would personally ask for me to come take care of them. I even had one gentleman who was very shy about bed bath cracking up. I love and care for each individual as my own, and want them to feel the best they can in a comfortable atmosphere. I cared for a lady who started having brain surgery at 20 and she was in her 70's when I cared for her. She also was difficult to understand but with patients I learned to communicate with her very well. I have cared for Alzheimer, Stroke, Cancer, Bed and Wheel Chair bound, and much more...... ALSO: I am very organized, great on cleaning, laundry and cooking: GOOD FOOD not junk. I also do not smoke, or take any medications. I was born a care giver, I have been taking care of the sick and elderly from a child hood age, what makes me different is I have a genuine love for people children and adults. sickness is not a desire of any one but when it happens to some one my hearts goes out to the individual . My children are all grown up and most of my time besides taking care of the small needs of my adopted children are not being used care giving is gratifying when people in need you fill needed, I realize some time you find some in such pain they aren't happy and they show it that is the illness,. I am totally proud of earning my license to Proclaim the Word Of God. I became a caregiver twenty years ago when my mother-in-law was ill. It is God's work, and I get fulfillment out of giving back to those who always gave of themselves to us. Being kind and patient with the needy is a feeling of accomplishment. I am a widow, and mother of two sons. One is a teacher, and the other is a ophthamologist.

What i like the most about caregiving is the ability to treat those as I would want myself to be treated in time of need. I find that with compassion, good listening skills and trying to understand and empathize with my clients not only does my client feel loved but learn that they can work towards a goal, increase their independance or have one that will help meet my clients needs . I find it extremely rewarding personally and always find new friends and family along this path.
