I believe that the best trait in me is determination. I like to encourage my patients to do as much as they can on their own with me their so that they do not lose their independance. My passion in the healthcare setting is unlimited and I have had the availability to attain employment in almost every role from PCA to NA. I love to put a smile on someones face especially when they have had a rough day or appointment. A personal achievement would be working full time and in nursing school as well as working on the RN-BSN while raising a child on my own.

My years of experience started as child careing for my younger siblings. As I matured my passion turn twards seniors for they wisdom and care they give to me as a young abult . In elementary my school nurse became my mentor ,I use to spend every break in the nurses office watching and admiring her as she Passionately care for the children's. My name is Tina and I have over 10 years of experience with Elder Care for my parents and grandmother. Both parents have medical issues ranging from Cancer Stage 4- Afib, heart disease, 1st stage of dementia, back surgeries, diabetes, cancer, pace maker, dietary needs, and more. My Grandmother had 2 types of cancer and aggressive dementia. My Father has Stage 4 cancer and I also help with his patient care. My father and daughter have diabetes, and I am very knowledgeable of meal planning, insulin, sliding scale, injections, emergency care, and blood sugar testing. I was a caregiver for them for 10 years now. however, I am also a End-of Life Doula and Memorial Service Planner Training. Due to my parents medical issues, I found a love for helping those who need help.

I have a outgoing personality friends and family look at me a friend, fun and loving sprit. As I was a little girl I always find the need to help people who face problems and helping themselves. I am a traveling CNA, I am currently on a travel assignment in Los Angeles. I have been a CNA for 10 years. My speciality is geriatric and adolescents. I have a passion for taking care of all of my patients. I just graduated with my BS in health science. My major was Public Health. Lastly I am a caregiver to my elderly grandfather, but my mother is helping me while I am away for work.

I decided to explore helping in the field of caregiving. My last career, involved direct assistant to private owner of Realestate Appraisal business. Once hired, I realized he truly needed not just a business assistant, also and definitely a personal assistant. I was blessed with the ability to help a gentleman who had lived and prospered in life. With many many stories he wanted to share. When I first applied for the job. I truly thought I was going to be Office Manager. One month into this position, I realized, His wife was ill. His daughters did not live close by. He was too proud to admit he needed personal, in-depth help! He immediately trusted me. I had worked for Johnson and Johnson for 25 years in management Responsible for his Personal and Business walfare and needs. He owned many personal Real estate Properties. I had absolutely no experience in this field. However, he saw in me a strong woman. That, I did not even know I am. I helped him get his properties filled with tenants. Collected his income. Showed him his income and express he needed to have a certified financial advisor. I was in no way qualified to handle such authority. Met all his doctors, his personal contractors that repaired and renovated his properties. Met with all his daughters and devised a plan on how to help this very very proud man except the fact he could no longer run a Very busy business. His whole life had turned around and was looking upward. He finally allowed himself to vacation and live his golden years, the way he had set himself up to. I was blessed with the opportunity. After his passing, I thought that maybe this was my calling. I'm just a good listener, know how to cook a little bit. Not the best housekeeper, but I can pick up.
