I have been in the medical field since 2007. I enjoy this profession due to the fact that I am able to help those who can't or need the help to do their daily activities and it makes me feel good knowing that I am able to give the person and their family that sense of relief knowing they have someone here who cares and genuinely wants to be there and do the best possible care they can to improve the quality of care and life. I've always gone above and beyond for anyone I've worked for and had a resident who was very hard to please go out of her way to write a note and post on the bulletin for all to see thanking me. For staying after my shift to put her to bed bc no one else would do it and I stayed an extra hr and half to do it and didn't complain in fact I kept asking if she was comfortable or needed. Anything else and she couldn't believe how sweet I was and even requested that if I was on shift I'd be her care giver.

I am an experienced caregiver that is nurturing and caring. I have many years experience in home health and clinical health care settings. I will be a dependable trustworthy person to help you in caring for your loved ones.

Im new to Florida I moved here in the end of July 2014 I believe in taking care of those who cannot do so themselves. I have achieved alot in my years from hospice care to critical care .Im a 57 year old male who did hospices from 1985 thru 2020. I obtained my lna license in NH in 2007 and received my license here in Aug 2014 I love what I do and believe home is MUCH better then a rehab or nursing facility its one on one rather then sharing with 15 others. I have received several awards for doing my job as well as i have many references that are available upon request. My last clients were24/7 both husband and wife he passed Jan 2017 and she passed oct 2019 just shy of 90 years old.I did not work in 2020 but resumed with a client in 2021 with end stage Alzheimer's which he just passed feb 8,2022. I have always been of a compassionate nature. Other than my five children, I have frequently cared for family members, either ill or injured. My maternal grandparents relied on me to assist them in their later years, as does my mother now. Dozens of clients' family members have thanked me for the extra time I spent caring for their loved ones. I believe God gives everyone a special gift: mine is the gift of comforting the sick. I have no other explanation; it seems to come naturally to me. I derive great satisfaction from knowing that I made someone feel better, even if only for a time. I try not to be proud, because I realize how blessed I have been. I have a strong marriage, healthy and happy children and grandchildren, and my health. The satisfaction I receive in helping others gives purpose to my life and joy to my soul.

I always knew I wanted to be a caregiver from a young age. When my grandfather got sick in 1995 with cancer I was right in the room helping my grandmother with him and staying overnight at his bedside to give her a break. It's just a great feeling knowing that you can be there for someone and help them that know longer can help him them self's.
