I've been a caregiver for 15 years now I'm in school to get my doctrines degree as a nurse practitioner. What attracts me of being a caregiver I care about taking care of others not only that it lets me take care of others, but I get to know how to take care of myself and my family and friends I enjoy the conversations I have with my clients. I'm proud of pursuing my education even further.

I became a Certified Nursing Assistant because my grandmother was having a hard time when she became up to age and she needed some type of assistance. I have had the pleasure of working with patients that has Dementia, Alzheimer's and many other conditions. I pride myself in being dependable and honest with my patients but most of all providing them with a safe and positive environment. While working with EHM Senior Solutions, my long-term clients strongly preferred that no substitute caregiver be assigned in my absence. For clients requiring 24-hour care with multiple caregivers, I was the only caregiver asked to remain on assignment once 24-hour services were no longer needed. One of my most meaningful experiences involved a client placed on hospice care and given just three days to live. After one month under my care, he graduated from hospice and went on to live for an additional two years, reaching the age of 100. This experience reflects my deep commitment to compassionate, consistent, and high-quality care.

I am a 41 year old CNA/Nursing Student/Breast Cancer survivor and I'm also a mother of 3 wonderful daughters. I became a caregiver because I love helping others and caring for those who can't perform or need assistance with their daily activities. When I was a young girl my mother was diagnosed with MS and my siblings and I were responsible for helping her with her daily activities and from that moment forward I knew that was my calling. In the past I have taken care of several loved ones and others until they're last moment here and thats what I feel like I am here to do, its my passion. I am not only compassionate with great patience, but I am also very attentive.
