I went into healthcare right out of high school and have been in the field since. I love providing care for all ages. Its my passion. I'm currently in school to continue my education in nursing. I volunteer at my local animal control. I am very passionate about animal care and protecting them from abuse. I current foster animals to get them ready for their furever home.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I listen and watch my clients. I may close attention to small details because at times that's all that matters. What attracted me to become a caregiver is the way I was raised to care for people who are in need and may not have anyone else. I was taught to treat and show respect to all kinds of humanity regardless of the way the look,talk,and dressed. The most thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is making sure that my person needs are met to my best abilities. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is me giving back when I can.

I was created to give care, and help to heal with my hands, through my heart, using natural remedies mostly. I have had my youthful times of being youthful, lol, yet I've been giving care since I was a little school girl. From teachers to families to animals, I've always had a passion/gift for helping to heal and/or take care. Thank you for your understanding, time, and consideration.

I recently was taking care of my grandmother who was independent living on her at the age of 94. I would always take her grocery shopping, doctor appointments and out for lunch for 2 yrs every week. She recently passed away and now I have the feeling of being there for other's who needs a great companion, to whom they can talk to as long as they need and someone who can care for them. The main thing I enjoy about being caregiver, are the conversations that I have with my patients. We talk about my life and there's, and what all has changed in such a short period of time. The personal achievement I'm proud of is getting into the medical assistant program after attempting 3 tries with my one core class that was holding me back.

I am 35 years of age. I became a caregiver because when I was younger my grandmother became very sick and her kids & my family out her in a nursing home. I don't think anyone should have to go into a nursing home if they have family so I wanted to be able to help people to keep their loved ones at home. I'm a great caregiver because I look at all of my clients as my family. I love being a caregiver because I get to meet new people and I make sure they know that they have someone. It's not the end of the road....regardless. I love being a caregiver but I really love being a great mother. I became a caregiver because, I have always enjoyed working with people. With just my 10 plus years in customer service, I have enjoyed being a person to help with any need a person may encounter. I would go out of my way to help people. I love the personality of the patients. Sitting with a client and listening to their past stories, bring me joy, or helping them to complete a goal that they may struggle with. Being there just for the little things, someone to keep them company or someone to help them cook a meal. I just love to help. A personal achievement that I am proud of is, A church member, at a church that I use to attend, had surgery. This was my first eye opener to going to school and becoming a caregiver. I really enjoyed helping her get back to living. I'm so glad that I had this opportunity, because not only did I like helping, I felt it gave me a since of direction. I'm a dependable, hardworker, honest, God fearing, lovable, energized person, that dont mind helping anybody. I have 3 kids that I'm thankful for. I'm a neat and tidy person, thats ready to work. I can't wait to join your team.

I became a caregiver because i like working with senior able to be there n help i like going in their homes assist to watever the senior needs assistance with making conversation finding things we can do togetherand at the end of day knowing i made someone day as great as mine the smile on face n hear them say are you back tomorrow? Hi, my name is Cheryl Mitchell and I have been a caregiver for over 8 years. Something I would like for you to know about my personality is I love interacting and learning new things and people. I enjoy the conversations and hearing about our history. I got into being a caregiver because I love helping. A lot of people don't have family at all or they don't live close enough. It's my goal to make everyone I take care of to feel like they have somebody. To see them smile and when they say thank you or tell me they love me, I made a difference that day.
