I Am Trustworthy And Dependable Love My Ministry Comforting Others While Helping And Caring For Others Not Knowing That I Would Be Taking Care Of My Husband Who Was Diagnose With Bone Cancer I Was His Hospice CNA For All Most Two Years At Home He Was Grateful That I Had The Experience And So Was I This Is Truly A Gift From God To Be Able To Meet And Work With So Many Wonderful People I Also Have References To Prove My History Of Work I Have Been In The Field As A C.N.A For 32 yrs. And I Am Glad To Say I Am Not Burn Out Or Tired Of My Ministry Caring For Others. It Was Truly A Honor To Be My Husband Personal Hospice C.N.A Before He Passed I Often Would Hear Him Telling Family Members And Friends How He Was Proud And Glad He To Have Me As His Care Giver Knowing What To Do For Him And Making It Easy For Him To Be Home Also Northwestern Hospice Register Nurse Along With Their Team Was Very Please With The Care For My Husband That I Was Able To Give Him It Was A Joy Full Of Precious Memories My Experience Is Working Hospital, Nursing Home, Private Duty, Live In-Live Out,Hospice, Setter Cases 32yrs Of Service.

I am a great caregiver because I provide excellent care to elderly/disabled people who can't do for themselves. I became a caregiver because I love helping people, and it feels good to help someone that's not able to help themselves. I feel that helping someone else makes my day better because I know I made a difference in someone's life whether it's helping a patient bath, eat, get dressed or even assist with walking. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is me being able to work with hospice patients. I was scared to work with hospice patients when I first started as a certified nurses aide, but I work with them everyday now and I love it!!! I'm going tell you a little about me I'm a dedicated hard worker, caring, respectful, loyal and honest person. I'm also a great person to get along with and I can work and a lot of different settings such as nursing homes, home care etc.

First of all, I am a people person. I interact well with others and I take my job seriously and I am a very hard worker. What made me want to be a caregiver is the fact that I know that this is something I can do becauseit is a part of who I am. I would want great care for my love one so I know others want the same for theirs as well. Also being a caregiver is rewarding. Not only do I give the care that is needed but I leave knowing that I have made a positive difference in my client's life and that is one of the most enjoyable thing about being a caregiver. A personal achievement that I am proud of is working for 24 years at Elgin Mental Health Center and providing high quality care to all patients and even those in the infirmary.

When I became a caregiver I was assisting my grand parents because, I knew that they needed help with certain situations until things have got better.
