I am loving caring outgoing always willing to learn something new willing to go above and beyond I have patients I listen to my patients I respect your decisions and just give them a lot of companionship .What attracts me to being a caregiver is just helping someone that can help their self and know that they appreciate that letting them know that there still are good people out there that don't take a vanish of them and that's willing to make the days better and brighter

My experience varys from client to client. Most of my clients that I have worked with have some degree of Alzheimer's. I would say that I'm very experienced in that department. My availability as far as scheduling varys. I enjoy working more hours then fewer hours. I like to work over night care the most. I am willing to work any hours of any day or night to help with my clients needs. Also holidays are not a problem either. I have wonderful references and license for my nursing skills. I've been a caregiver over 12+ years The reason i've became a caregiver Was something that was naturally in Me I used to go with my mom and sister at a young age to different clients house while they gave care to different client. What I love about being a caregiver is I get to help others that can't be independent to themselves anymore. Every care situation is different and circumstances can change over time so it helps to understand what the person in your care may need help with from day to day including task Such as taking him or her to medical appointments doing grocery shopping giving showers help dressing and undressing and assisting with daily medications (etc) I learned something new from each client that I've given care to.. one thing I accomplish from being a caregiver over 12+ years i have took one of the first steps to start my own home health agency I am now certified with the secretary of state and I will accomplish every step that I need to take to start my own business my goal is toprovide assistance with the following activities of daily living activities dressing ,grooming, hygiene bathing toileting mobility transfer medication reminders ect my Mission is to remain the premier provider of home care Service in the greater Cincinnati area by continually offering clients the highest quality of life and independence attainable my success starts by treating clients and caregivers with dignity and respect

My mother was a nurse and I enjoyed being a part of that atmosphere, I started out being an nurses assistant and I found it more enjoyable being STNA . That is a state tested nursing aid it took me two hospitals nursing facilities and it gave me a greater appreciation for what we do and now I'm able to enjoy home healthcare which is just as enjoyable one on one private care I'm able to apply many things that I've learned over the years which helps me and the client in daily activities I have extensive nursing training there is no situation that I have not yet experienced I enjoy being a part of the healthcare field. When my mother took ill I was able to take care of her and know exactly what the doctors were talking about that was a huge achievement to be able to be supportive and stand firm on my mother's wants and needs.

I took care of my grandmother and my nephew I love giving people the care they are in need of. And I do this this job because I care for people like I would want someone care for me or my family.

Hello! My name is Dani and I am a PhD student at Miami University. I have both a bachelors and masters degree in psychology and currently study behavioral neuroscience. During my undergraduate career I worked in senior care (5 years), and while my current position is rewarding- I truly miss being a caregiver. Being a caregiver allows you to know individuals on a deep and intimate level while helping them and their families transition during a very challenging time. I have a wide range of experience and enjoy learning new things- further, I would consider myself to be very patient, kind and reliable (essential traits for this kind of work!).
