I am 22 years old , Currently a college student studying nursing! I have Successfully finished all my pre requisitions and have a lot of knowledge in patient care! I have experience with many different care levels. I have 2 years experience in home health and 2 years of acute, long term, and dementia care. I come from a family of nurses, so at a young age I have found a passion in being a caregiver. I take pride in my care! With my experience I have learned this is the most difficult time for family and clients! I find comfort in limiting the stress while assuring their loved one is well tooken care of! I am a hold a valid CNA,CPR, and dementia certification ! I'm hoping to use my knowledge to help a family find comfort during this difficult time.

I began my career in dentistry. I graduated from Indiana University with a certificate in Dental Assisting and earned my Expanded Functions of Dental Assisting in 1996 and went on to be a sophomore in dental hygiene and pre dental. While attending dental hygiene I became married and had my son Gabriel. During this time I took time away from school to stay home with my baby! When he was two I went to work as a Dental Assistant again. During this time I noticed Drs treating patients as numbers instead of people. So my nurse friend asked if I would like to work as a home health aide/ caregiver for home health Visiting Angels. I started working with Visiting Angels in 2013. And I found my purpose!! I worked with hospice, Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, stroke, and being a companion. I have a lot of experience with medication reminders, bathing hygiene, ect. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving/ home health aide is putting smiles on my patients faces, helping them as much as I can so they know they are cared about. I treat each patient as I would want my family taken care of!! I'm very compassionate and patient. I give over 100% And I absolutely love what I do. I can go home at night knowing I helped someone, I put a smile on their faces or held their hand. I not only help them but they help me as well.

I took care of my great grandmother 20 years ago. I meet new people and learn new things that would even benefit me. i took a very difficult case and they were a high risk for bed sores and have managed to not have a bottom break down and carried them through life with respect and dignity. i am very patient. have been in the field a long time. I've seen and learned alot of things. I am proud to say that I enjoy working with the elderly.

I am a very outgoing caring person. I started the health field when I was 18 because my aunts a nurse and got me a job at her nursing home. I enjoy making relationships with my residents getting to know their life is so interesting to me.

I have been a CNA for 25 years, and an HHA for 15 years. I have experience with all phases of geriatrics, including hospitals, assisted living, and home care, both privately and through companys. I am also educated with an associates degree in administrative secretary, and am CPR certified. I am kind, caring, prompt and dependable. I am primarily looking for 24 hour live-in assignments, possibly four to 5 days a week. I can also do occasional hours in the Portage, Valparaiso Indiana area. I have been in the medical field as a caregiver for 25 years. I am experienced in several areas from alzheimers to cardiovascular. I enjoy helping others and am very compassionate, caring, and take time to get to know those I care for. The needs of those I help are of utmost importance for me to meet. I strive to provide excellent care and maintain dignity and privacy.

I am young and am willing to put my body to work to help the others than cannot. I enjoy spending my time with the elderly and giving back. Even if its not with the elderly all the time, I still enjoy giving back to those who are suffering from illnesses. If I can help, I will in any way I can. My stepmother is a Nurse Practitioner and most of my family consists of Nurses. This made me want to get my foot in the door for nursing school so I became a CNA. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to feel accomplished when helping someone. I love that I am able to be trusted and counted on to help an individual out. Personal achievements I am proud of is the thought that I can make someones day just by helping them do little tasks that maybe they aren't able to do anymore.

Hi, i have 3 years experience within heathcare. I've worked in the Neuroscience department of a hospital. I have experience with varying patients. From dementia to incontinent patients. You name it.
