I love what I do , I love taking caring of other. What made me want to continue loving and caring for others that aren't able to do for themselves or need assistance? It feels so good knowing your doing good for someone. I love that I've learned to listen to others and how they feeling so I could see what I could do to help them feel better. I enjoying getting close and gaining there trust .

I'm a caregiver of 4 years paid, but a lot more not. Caregiving is my calling in life. It's what I love to do. I love being able help the elderly and special needs. I have experience in home health, home healthcare, nursing home experience, hospice experience as well as end of life experience as of recently. I love being a caregiver to not just help those kinds of people out, but rather be there for them in many ways. I never allow my clients to feel like their alone whenever I'm on the shift. Because it's something that I refused to allow my poor daddy to have to go through. To me it's just cruel. I'd say my greatest achievement thus far is being able to say with pride and honor that I was able to be there for my father in that regard. So much so, that he basically trusted me with his life. Meaning I was the one to be able to give him his final ride/journey on this earth. It's something that I don't boast about a lot but I do have clients that remind me so much of him, that in return for the taking a chance on me, I give them the gifts of companionship, empathy, a shoulder to cry on should it be needed, a strong pillar to lay all their fears and worries away, and never having to worry/wonder if their alone. I always reassure them that I'm always here.

Im a great CNA because i take my time in getting to know the client and being patient while they get to know me. I take pride in the work i do. Being able to help someone is one of my passions. Im very skilled at every disability being able to work with different clients makes it easy for me to adapt to any case

What makes me A great caregiver would be that I don't only do my job i go beyond it. Everyone needs some one to depend on and I'm that person. my mother has been a caregiver her whole life. Seeing what she did for so many people young and old inspired me to follow in her footsteps. What I enjoy most is the smile on my clients face and their appreciation. One personal achievement I'm proud of is driving one of my clients to A heart surgery and staying with him through it all due to his family being so busy. I was so happy to be there and to see the smile on their face when they woke up and saw me. I'm proud because I had just gotten my drivers license and I had to drive to Texas. It was worth it.

A great caregiver is a person who can care for people as long as I have,I became a caregiver from personal experience.I have been caring for patients for 28 yrs,so many different diagnoses, and ages. Im very proud of all I have achieved and still got a long way to go....

I love taking care of the elderly,because one day we will all become elderly if we are fortunate, I took care of my mother for 15+ years, until her death, she had a severe stroke, I nursed her back to health within a year and she lived 18 more years, I am glad I was there for her. I have experience in diabetes, stroke, transfers, hospice, housekeeping, cooking, companionship, errands, trustworthy, dependable and I love to read out loud, I follow instructions well and I truly enjoy life, I am not an anxious person, I can adjust to most situations, and I love to talk and play games, Alzheimer's is something that I have the patience for, they just need extra love, and I pray daily.

Hi, I am a 37 year old woman, who has 2 Daughters (girls) ages 15 and 17 They are My world. I had a Husband for 12 years who was killed on the job 1 year ago .. I am a lovable , caring, compassionate person and although I dont have to work, I love working , loosing my husband was the worst pain I ever felt, but I knew I wanted to go back to work doing what I love helping the ones that need it, or more so conversations and someone who cares. I have done home health for over 10yrs and I love it.. I have never been into any trouble of any kind, love attending church , outings, and anything my client requires .. I cook, clean, engage in my clients and understand them... I went years without missing work.. Very hardworking ,dependable and reliable..
