As the caregiver of your loved one I am responsible for the direct care of patients, clients, or residents of the facility or agency or person that and whom I work for. I assist with daily activities, such as dressing, bathing, and eating. I also have a role in keeping them safe and comfortable. I became a nurses aide because I once was a full time Single mother to my special needs daughter (cerebral palsy and quadriplegic). I am a natural nurturer . I believe in giving my patients confidence in range on motion (keep them moving and active )or very comfortable is my motto .

I'm very loving, compassion love to help elderly people since I was young.I promise my grandma that I will take care of her and everyone else that gets older I'm my family.And till this day I help everyone I can with joy.

A little about myself is I have always wanted a career in healthcare no matter what the field is. I love being able to help people. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to put a smile on someone's face and also being basically an extra set of hands. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is I started off by taking care of my Grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Dementia in 2013 and sadly passed away in 2017. I wanted to make a difference in people's lives so I decided to make a career out of it. I take pride in being a caregiver and knowing that I am trusted to help out someone else's loved one. One of my most proudest achievements is completing my EMT Course in two months!

I enjoy taking care of individuals out of love and integrity. I have worked with individual's with brain injuries, hospice care, companionship Alzheimer's or dementia. Training with Hoyalift, wheel chair transfers, shower buddy, standard stander. I have also coached individuals with physical therapy occupational therapy & aquatic therapy I am detail oriented reliable responsible honest trustworthy

As a young adult all I knew was my grandmother. She taught me everything I knew until she got sick. Her body started to break down and I had to take care of her. I prepared her meals, breakfast and dinner and gave her showers also dressed her. She got really bad and she was forced into a nursing home because nobody was able to give her the proper care she needed. She passed away in the nursing home. I felt nothing but guilt that I didn't have the skills to take care of her so she could be comfortable at her own home. So I made an effort to be the best CNA for others on this planet. So their families can get proper care in the comfort of their homes.

Hi My name is Elexus Hill . I started working in the healthcare field in 2016 after my father passed away. I knew my passion was to help others. I first became a Certified Nurse Assistant , and then I went back to school to gain experience to become a Registered Nurse . My journey to finishing school has had its ups and downs due to family deaths. I have a very strong background in the healthcare field , I have previously worked in the ICU unit at a hospital , long term care facilities as well as in the home setting.

I became a caregiver because at the time it was the only thing that seemed like a good opportunity for me. I never knew that this position would not only make me a better person, but teach me about people. I've learned so much about my-self, and have grown so much in the years as a caregiver, that this is really all that I know.

I'm a very outgoing caregiver that cares more about how the residents is feeling and the comfortability than my own! I love taking care of people, and the smiles I get when I come to there home to help them out is amazing! What I enjoy the most about caregiving is the ability to learn and connect with my care senior! I try my best to help and understand the importance of caregiving! My personal achievements is working 70+ hours at the rest home. It's a achievement for me because I love working with them and growing with them is amazing!

The thing I enjoy most being a caregiver is seeing my clients happy. If they are happy I'm super happy. I love when my clients smile or say "thank you Rashida, this means so much to me" or something of that sort. This warms my heart. I am a honest, caring, optimistic, open minded care giver.

I am a very caring, kind, intelligent, respectful, and responsible. As for what attracted me to be a care giver is I see so many articles and shows on tv showing all of these residents being abused and it broke my heart and I wanted to make a difference so I decided to go to a technical high school were I got my CNA as well as all of my other certifications. What I enjoy most about being a care giver is the smiles I get when I do even the littlest thing s for my residents I am not saying it is always easy or picture perfect but I think of my residents as family members and treat them exactly how I would treat my own family member because you always have to think they did not ask to be in there situation and that is what I always refer back to. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is I went to a technical high school and got all of my certifications there and now am currently attending a university to further my education while working per diem. As well as currently looking for a full time job so I can continue helping people while also saving money for college.
