I have always been more mature for my age. I grew up as an only child, only hanging around adults. I have always had a caring personality and when I was 18 after I graduated high school I started working as a CNA at an adult day care, caring for geriatrics with dementia. I fell in love with them. They may not be able to remember your name or their own name but they can tell you stories about their childhood that bring warmth to your heart. I am very good at caring for geriatrics, making them feel comfortable in embarrassing situations for them (bathing, changing soiled linen) because they still deserve dignity and respect which I make sure they know they have the upmost respect. Some geriatric patients have a hard time with caregiving because they have literally give up every ounce of independence they used to have which is hard to cope with. My personality is very smiley and happy around geriatrics which makes them feel better. I also have a very loud voice which is an advantage with geriatrics since most are hard of hearing, they can hear me because I tend to speak loudly. I am an RN however I love being a caregiver too. I am very good at caring for people, making them feel comfortable, I am very easy to talk to and educating on medical information also.

I am a very passionate, honest and professional Registered Nurse . Right from a young age, i always wanted to work with the public to make a positive impact to people's life and that is why i decided to chose a career in health care. I enjoy providing care and treatment to sick people /service users. I pride myself ensuring that those under my care happy and valued. I've been taking care of elderly for 25 years. I am honest hard working and trustworthy. I will show up on time for my shifts. I have my CNA and Medtech certifications as well as CPR. My experience ranges from campaign care to hospice care. I love taking care of our elderly.

I have a passion for helping others. I am compassionate and have empathy for people. I enjoy taking care of my grandparents and family members and would like to help others in this way. During the intern portion of CNA training the people were the most important part of my day. I enjoyed doing what I could to make them comfortable and assuring that they were safe. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make the persons day better. Helping with the little things, like finding creamer for their coffee (as long as it was on their dietician list) was important as well. I like doing work that has a potential to make a difference in someone's life. When I am older, I want someone like myself there to help me when I need help.

I became a caregiver 1979 I joined the army as medical assistance, since than I started working as a caregiver for hospice patient, I enjoy give my time and see how good they feel the joy they give me as the care giver, to know someone care for them.
