Hi, I currently provide independent living skills, dementia care, hospice care, nanny, housekeeping, companion care, transportation, senior and home health care services. I have been providing senior care since 2000. My education includes being a current LPN, Bachelors in Social Work, addiction counselor for 5 years and Masters in Human Services. I have 4 children of which 2 are military and 2 teens at home. I am a single mom who enjoys nature walks, being involved in the church and living a serene and quiet lifestyle. I love this job because I love to take care of elderly people and I have been doing it for a long time. These people are very amazing with great experience and I treat them with dignity and respect . I am a person with passion and I take my job seriously to assist my clients with their daily needs. I also play a major roll when it comes to team work . I became a caregiver because I love to serve and help the needy. Before I started a job as a caregiver, I volunteered at the Pre-Ops of Sinai hospital in Baltimore forsix (6) hours, 3 days a week.I care about people, I am a very loving and caring person, full of empathy and I am learning so much in this chosen career from my clients. I am full of joy, I love to sing, read them poems and sometimes we dance together. I love to dress them up. We play cards sometime and some of them watch their favorite game show on T.V and cooking is also a delight to me. Growing up like a child I was given to my grandmother by my parents . I love and cherish her all the day of my adolescent. Then as time kept passing she was aging and became weak and sick . I took great care of her for 6years and never complained cause I realized I was bless with such moment as taking care of her in return for the love and care she showed me as a child . Since then I developed the love and passion to help and render care to those in need especially the aging and the sick. This feeling therefore give meet the uch to go to school and take the course in CNA /HHA which has given me a wilder knowledge and experience as needed in this scope of caregiven . Am I so happy and fulfill in the fact that I know that I can now make someone in the position of such need to smile as I am now a professional in the field. As for my personalilty , I know am very unique, I have alot of achievement such as; I can speak French and English language well , I am respectful, loving, empathy,educated .
