I once lived near an elderly housing complex and saw the need of elderly who who were badly in need of help and could not afford. I began volunteering and never stop. I love helping people. I am very proud that was able to save the life of an elderly who was not aware that she had developed early stage cancer. I took her to MGH and the cancer institute for testing. She was quickly diagnosed and began treatment on that very day. She is still in remission as we speak. I am a reliable, dedicated, compassionate, loving, hard working, and a very caring individual and I love helping people. Ian reliable, get along well with both coworkers and patients and I also have excellent communication skills. I have been in the health care business for many years.

I have become, what I consider myself to be, an amazing caregiver. I have a huge heart and i tend to put everyone I care for above and beyond everything else. I listen carefully to peoples needs as well as wants and do my very best to provide what is expected by them or the families NO QUESTION. I decided I wanted to be a caregiver at a young age. My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia and everyone in my family brushed it off as just 'old age'. Well, I wanted to learn more about this dementia and see what I could do to help better her life and the lives of others in this predicament. What I am proud of most is all the positive feedback from families as well as co-workers, managers included, about how great I am and how lucky a place or family is to have me. I have many personal achievements but the one I am most proud of, is I will ALWAYS and forever as long as I am caring for loved ones of my own or others, put quality over quantity. I have learned that people need good care no matter the life span, young or old.

I first became a care giver because it was easy to get a job as a care giver but then I began to enjoy the fact that I make the difference between a good day or a bad day to my clients by trying my best to meet their needs and making them comfortable and needed .I am a mature woman who has both handicapped and elderly close family members so I know what care and compassion can do to such individuals.

I tend to give some sense of comfort to my clients. I will listen and try to understand what exactly my people need. To me caring for people has always come naturally even while growing up taking care of family and siblings. Someone can rely on the fact that I got them in mind at all times. I love it when I help my clients with stuff they can no longer do easily by themselves.

Being there for a loved one, treating them as my own family has been a wonderful experience especially having to make them feel important. By showing both empathy and compassion i treat the person am caring for know that i care. Am patient, trustworthy, dependable, a good listener and responsible. Striving for independence is the major goal that i try to achieve in the clients that i work with.
