I became a caregiver because if my family or myself were in need of care, I would want someone like me to take care of them. I like being a caregiver because I like the professional relationships that are built and I like to encourage people to be as independent as they possibly can. A personal achievement I am proud of is running a house of 13 disabled individuals at 19 years old, as well as founding a dance program for disabled children as well.

I become a caretaker at the age of 16, i quit my job to take care of my dying grandmother. I was told had a special gift . I become a cretified nurses aid and I have been taking care of people for 33Years . I love my job, I am very caring , patient and kind. I take great pride in my work. I have won awards working for st peters hospital as CNA of the year. several times.
